I'd like to try something a bit different! Pay it forward reviews.
Here's the way it works:
Just make a post in this thread with a link to a work of yours you'd like reviewed. If you have nothing you'd like reviewed, then post any recent work that you think needs a review.
Here's the catch though:
You must within 24 hours review the linked work of whoever is the first person to post after you. If you don't, the chain will be considered broken and the thread will stop. Don't be that person! The chain will also be considered broken if there are no further posts within a single 24 hour period.
What this means is that the person above your post is committed to reviewing your work. That means in turn that you are committing to reviewing the work of the person below you. Thus, I am committing to reviewing the work of the first person to reply to this thread.
Keep in mind that there is a certain amount of risk involved! Without knowing the work beforehand, you could be committing to reviewing a long chapter. You should also not post unless you know you have time to write a review within the next 24 hours.
After you write your review and have paid it forward, please update your post to include the word "Done!" at the bottom. That just makes it easy to keep track of the chain.
