How about a novel that's done, but I could just link you to the first chapter? No pressure to read further if it's not your cup of tea. But I just rewrote the opening, so more commentary on that would be appreciated.

Monachopsis The genre is fantasy. It's also a fanfiction; if you're not into that, that's fine, just let me know, but I would prefer to have it reviewed as an independent piece (it's only tangentially related to the source material). Summary for this bit: "A mother brings her young son to meet the all-powerful force that holds Wonderland together. It doesn't go well." I'd love to see it picked over with a fine comb. Otherwise, a focus on character and anything confusing would be much appreciated.
