Hey another newbie here!

Hello everybody! On here my name is Valkyrie so feel free to refer to me as that or a variation of! If you have another name you want to call me then I don't mind to be honest as long as its awesome ! :smt003 Writing and reading are my life! I have been writing stories ever since I can remember and even from a young age they all seem to contain gore/horror of some kind or be a bit weird. That's what you can expect from any work I will be uploading in the future :wink: I have recently discovered that I do indeed have a 'voice' inside my head that won't subside unless I let it out in a story! To me that's a sign of being a writer so I'm happy with this crazy revelation. 8) As you can probably tell from the little bit I have said about the kind of stories I write, I enjoy reading dark fiction (and watching it too!). I have always loved the more sinister story than one that's full of love and fairy tales. Although that's not to say I don't enjoy a happy ending ; I just think that to get there there needs to be a few bumps along the way! :smt023 I am rambling sorry! On a more personal note, I was raised in the same house for most of my life but last year I had to move out of my lovely home because of my parents getting a divorce. I am not looking for sympathy just explaining my background! :) Since then I have been constantly between two houses and just last week my dad had to move again so I am currently in the middle of settling into his new place - luckily it's the summer holidays! This also means I may not be able to put up any of my own work just yet but I can't wait to get something up and hear what you guys think of it! I have picked up that reviewing is a major thing here which is great! I would love to review some work and am looking forward to doing so. Again I may not be able to do that right away because of recently moving, also I am a newbie to leaving sophisticated reviews so I am gonna hang back and study how to leave a great review! I already know I am not going to be great at reviewing lyrics or poetry so don't ask me to review them please. I am sure you want someone with more confidence in that area leaving a review :D Anyway, feel free to ask me any questions about me! Oh and I know about the buddy club/mentor system so don't worry about letting me know. :) Thanks for reading! P.S I am looking forward to making new friends on here! To be honest, I don't know what the stars are for xD. I just comment and review and post work.

Im a HUGE fan of Batman, but I got the name from a Dark Comedy. If you look at my profile, I am a really big movie fan. I also read a bunch of comic books.

Which dark comedy is it from then if you don't mind me asking? I love comics although I have only recent gotten into buying my own ones. I'm a massive DC fan and have already started to build up a collection of the New52 volumes. :3 A few weeks ago I dressed up as a female riddler and even got my nails done to match!

Dr Strangelove (Surprising, right?)

I tried DC, but only one series grabbed me
Starboy, Hellboy, and Batman in a single series all together.
I'm a die hard independent fan (Chew, KickA**)
Also Marvel (Dexter, Civil War)

That's cool still. I don't think I have read any independent stuff. I like a few tittles from Image as well. Like I said, I am a bit relatively new to the comic book scene. I went to the Film and Comic concevention a couple of weeks ago which was pretty awesome. ^^
