Sorry I haven't posted sooner -.-" didn't realize the action had started already.

Andy Oswell

Glaring at Creole I crouched down to check Kyana. His hit was definitely going to leave a mark, but so was I--on him. I gripped The Sword of Violence tighter, hovering over Kyana, but making sure Creole understood that if he got any closer, he was going to lose his head. I knew there was a reason I never liked him.

I glanced over at Violet, who was still rubbing her arm where I had struck her and glaring at me. If any normal person were to look at her, they'd see an angry child, but I was no normal person. I'd dealt with her before and I knew she was sizing me up for an attack. In my moment of distraction, Creole swung The Staff of Envy towards my head. I barely dodged it, using my sword to deflect the blow.

"Kyana? Are you ok?" I gently shook her shoulder and she let out a moan, lifting her head slightly. Something inside of me snapped when I saw the pain in her eyes. My face grew hot with anger. I hated Creole for turning on us--and for ruining my day to start with. I hated Violet for even existing, and I hated myself for not seeing what my best friend was before. The only person I didn't really hate here was Kyana and that was because I cared too much for her.

Without really thinking, I ran at Violet, raising the Sword of Violence up over my head. I let my rage fuel me, hoping that I'd be able to do enough damage to send her crawling on her knees back to where she came from. When I was close enough to swing my sword at her, a bright violet light began radiating from her, acting as a shield and throwing me a good distance away from her. As my back hit the ground, I felt the wind get knocked out of me and I struggled for air. My sword had also been dislodged from my hands.

Violet was making her way towards me, hate clear on her face as I struggled to move away from her. I should have remembered the last time we'd fought--she'd kicked my butt then, and had barely lifted a finger. Now she was going to do more than kick my butt. She was going to kill me, then Kyana and there was nothing I could do about it.

Andy glared at me venomously for a long moment, making me hesitate. I was rather fond of my head, and she did have a sword, where I only had a staff...In a minute she looked over to where the girl was still nursing her arm and glaring at Andy and Kyana. I seized the opportunity, taking a swing at Andy's head.

She whirled around at the last moment and blocked my blow with her sword.

She gently shook Kyana. "Kyana? Are you okay?"

Kyana groaned and lifted her head, ever so slightly. A look of rage washed across Andy's face, flushing her cheeks pink; suddenly she leapt to her feet and charged the girl.

Stupid girl...this should be good. I scoffed. Andy clearly thought she was tougher than she really was.

"Creole!" A voice hissed beside my left ear.

I jumped, twisting sideways and nearly whacking myself with the Staff of Envy. I cursed and craned my head towards the serpent head sticking out of my collar.

"Goliand!" I growled. "Now's a fine time for you to show up. Where were you?"

"What do you think you're doing?" Goliand hissed.

I shrugged, glaring at the tip of my staff.

"Waiting."

"For what?" Goliand asked incredulously. "Andy isss in trouble!"

A bright violet flash sent Andy flying backwards. She landed flat on her back, her sword some distance from her.

"Now she is."

"Don't be a fool. Ssssave her."

"Why should I? She's done nothing but threaten me the whole time, and she's siding with the Lost One."

"Sssays who?

"What do you mean, says who? It's obvious that she's not fighting Kyana."

"What'ssss to sssay that Kyana isss the Lossst One? The girl?"

"...Yeah." I said, feeling rather foolish.

"What'sss to sssay that the girl issssn't on the Golden Council? How do you know sssshe'sss not jussst trying to weaken your forcesss, before sssshe killss you?"

I felt a wave of panic rush across my body.

"...But what if you're wrong?"

"Then you track down Kyana and kill her later....If I'm right, there will be hell to pay if you make it back...Do you want to face Sssoren with the news?"

I shuddered and looked at the girls. The girl was rapidly advancing on Andy, hate on her face.

"Oh god...what did I do?"

I charged forward and leapt in between Andy and the girl, holding my staff tightly.

"What are you doing? She's with the Lost One. Kill her!" The girl ordered.

Her words were dripping with venom, sending a fresh wave of fear through me, nearly compelling me to obey. I shook my head, trying to clear her voice from my thoughts. She was obviously more powerful than me. What was I to do?

I stepped back, allowing the girl a full view of Andy. I glanced down at Andy, and saw the hurt on her face. The hurt in her eyes because I had betrayed her. The girl nodded once approvingly, and took another step towards Andy.

Quick as a flash I brought the tip of my Staff around and caught the girl on the cheek. She whirled around on me, snarling; I tackled her, pounding my fists into her as we fell. As soon as we landed there was a second violet flash, and I found myself flying through the air.

I landed heavily, gasping for air.

"I'll kill you too then...once I finish with her," the girl sneered and turned back towards Andy.

Andy! No!

I bit my lip and forced myself to my knees. I grabbed a small stone lying on the ground by me, and hurtled it at the girl's head. My aim was off, but the stone still caught her in her upper back.

She whirled around once more.

"You'll kill me first!" I growled angrily, as I finally forced myself to my feet. The ground was spinning beneath me.

"That wasssssn't a very good comeback," Goliand hissed quietly. "You ssshould've sssaid you'll kill her, Dip ssssh-"

"Yeah! I mean I'll kill you!" I shouted, hoping I didn't seem as dizzy as I really was.

"Oh. You'll be pathetically easy," the girl said, as she stomped towards me once more.

"Run Andy! Get Kyana out of here!" I shouted, as I grabbed the dagger from my boot and threw it towards the girl advancing on me.

"Yes, run run as fast as you can. It'll be a breeze to catch you," the girl mocked, as she easily deflected my blade.

I lunged towards her, bringing my staff down towards her head. She easily deflected my blow, and sent me tumbling through the air once more. A stone rushed up to meet my head; and I landed in utter darkness, oblivious to everything else.

Well, first I saw her get angry, then I saw her spirit animal attack Destiny while she stole a box, and then she ran outside. Alma and I looked at each other.

"Well, that's not good," Alma said, "Go follow her, give her a chance to explain herself."

"You really don't drop this stuff, do you Alma," I said, with a dip of a Russian accent. I silently cursed myself; I had worked so hard to get rid of that accent. I slung my backpack and stored the book in my bag. Then I took off after her. She went a little ways, and started casting a spell. Then the box she stole shattered, and the Dark Pharoh said;

"True a High Priest or Priestess can imprison me, but that only applies if you were pure of heart. Your betrayal has diluted your heart's purity. You failed what an ancestor of yours once succeeded. You are such a disgrace to your family."

Great, now the leader of our expedition is going to feel like an idiot. I sighed and stepped out from the corner. "He said diluted, not destroyed. Diluted simply means you need purification."

Sorry I'm late. I've been busy at ROTC camp.

Landon Jackson And Soul

We hurried outside, where all the chaos was going.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"I don't know!" Soul shouted. There was smoke and chaos. I was lost. I didn't know what was going on. I saw a couple people putting out fires and I ran over to help.

"I'm here to help!" I say. I use my powers to grab the mud from the water to smother the flames out quicker.

I watched as Aurora ran away, but my anger somewhat cooled I saw around me the flames. Landon was assisting in putting out the flames and I knew better than to abandon the council for some stupid revenge, I was right behind him as I pulled out the Crown of Humanity which was in my preferred form a necklace form. I was quick to control the water and throw it onto the fire doing my best with other members to extinguish the flames. Then I saw the Dark Pharaoh right beside me, what was he doing here at this point?

"Ummm, sorry to bother but, Kyana, my boss says she'll be here as soon as she can." He said.

"And your just telling me this now?" I asked in a strained voice.

"I was on orders not to say who she was but, boss has ordered me to reveal her identity to you, not Soren tho." He replied.

"Thank you, I'll do as I can, tell her to get here as soon as possible." I told him.

"Right." He replied.

Kyana "Amon" Bell

"Boss! Boss!" I heard Grey yell as I came steering again.

I awoke from the blow I had received from behind, and I watch as Creole goes down like a sake of potatoes by Violets hand. I get to one knee, as I searched around for Andy who was off to Violets right and here I was with Violets back to me. I knew Creole had struck me from behind as I curled my fingers in envy of Violets power, but I tried to focus on Grays voice.

"Boss, you got to allow me to take over. You can't win." He said.

His voice felt like it was ringing in my ears as I could feel a serious migrane coming on from the overuse of my powers.

"No, I can defeat Violet. Go to the head of the Golden Council, tell her I'll be there as soon as I can, tell her 'Kyana's on her way.'" I said.

I charged in and jumped Violet from behind, the flames growing as the buildings set ablaze as they grew my arms wrap around Violets neck as I try to strange her, but to no avail. She throws me off and onto my back as she roared in anger, I'm right next to Creole as I could tell that guy was out for this. I stand as Andy gathered herself with the Sword of Violence, ready for round two with Violet. I charge in again as my fist slams into Violets arms pushing her back against some cars.

"That's it! I'm threw playing around! Time to die!" She yells.

"Andy, get close to me." I said as three cars levitated into the air and circled Violet.

The first came down and straight at me, I put up my hands as I focused light around me to make a barrier of sheer light. It bounces over us as it crashes against it, then the second and third came down. It was time to end this, I didn't have much power left and I needed to end this now, I make an orb of darkness in one hand. And then a bright ball of light in the other, I put the two balls together as it turns into a single gray orb. And finally I unleashed my most powerful attack in my arsenal.

"Oblivion Cannon!" I call out.

With all my might I show the powerful ball of energy at Violet, she was surprised by this as she tried to run. But to no avail as she was obliterated in the attack, I knew she wasn't dead, she was far to powerful to die like that. When it was all over I turned to Andy as I gave her a half hearted smiled, I gave her a weak two finger salute before I finally collapse into her arms. Passed out.

I did what I was told and returned to my host. She was out cold, but still alive. I sat beside her, unseen by no one else. I was relieved that she was still living, but it scared me to think I might lose her. Since the night she was born, I was attached to her like poison ivy to a tree. As she grew up, I learned with her and from her. It was all the same as spirit and host. We learned together. I found myself remembering the last conversation I had with my father before his untimely death.
I told Father I wasn't ready to be the next pharaoh. All that talk of marriage, having heirs of my own, and ruling all of Egypt didn't seem to suit me. I had friends of the lower class and plenty of time to worry about being pharaoh. I wanted to have fun, be my own man, and go my own way.
Father, for the first time in my life, slapped me in the face and ordered me to stay home in the palace where I wasn't so exposed to the lower class. My duties were in the palace and that was final.
Hurt from being hit by Father, I left the palace and ran to a peasant boy's house. There I had myself a swell time with my one-time male lover by giving him my heart and further matters. It was the last time I spoke with my father and my last night as a prince. The next day, I was told my parents were murdered mysteriously.
Deep down, even today, I felt at fault for that night. Now that I had a host, I made myself promise not to make that mistake again.

Aurora Fae

I was shocked at what the spirit said. A High Priest who was pure of heart could imprison the Dark Pharaoh. How was I to know that my betrayal minimized my chances of succeeding into imprisoning the Dark Pharaoh? After hearing Zack's statement, I realized my mistake. I've betrayed the Council, therefore diluting my pure heart. I had no choice but to face the music. I got on my feet and looked around for Destiny.
Arthur whispered, "The meeting room, mistress. A fire there is burning."
I found Destiny there and used my wind power to put out the flames. After I was sure the flames were put out, I got on my knees in front of Destiny. "Pray forgive me, milady. I wanted to prove I could imprison the Dark Pharaoh, but my pride got the best of my judgement. I know what I did was wrong and it took a failed attempt at imprisoning the Dark Pharaoh to realize that. If you wish to punish me, then do it." I bowed my head with my eyes closed, waiting.
Look down and show some mercy if you can.
Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.

I followed Fae to the council room, where she used her wind powers to put out the flames. She's getting better, I thought. Then she practically asked for punishment. Is that what pure people do? We're losing time as it is! he thought, restraining a facepalm, "What ever you do as punishment, make it quick please, Ma'am. We have an elusive, spirit bound girl to find," he says to Destiny.

Being pure of heart must be hard if you can't even steal to do the better good. I mean, look at how many problems have been solved with espionage and secrecy. I'm not saying that stealing is a good thing, just that sometimes it's necessary. And sometimes you've got to fall to stand up. Anyway, in today's society, I'm surprised you could find anyone pure, he thinks, absent-mindedly tossing his dice in the air.

I pounded a fist against the wall. Violet had failed to apprehend the Lost One. Fae had reverted to the Council again. Things were not going as planned. Master had given me a deadline... the deadline was today.

I fell to my knees. Already, I could see the shadows in the room darkening, lengthening.

There was a flash, a sudden whirling sensation, and I could feel his presence. I looked up slightly and saw highly polished leather shoes.

"Fae has betrayed us. Your niece failed to apprehend the Lost One. Destiny still lives. My my, how you've failed us, Soren."

"Forgive me, master" I pleaded.

"The blame, ultimately, falls on me," said Master, still ignoring me. "I should have foreseen this." He twitched, then shook. Now, his voice was deeper, edged with something darker. "Pathetic human morals... this is your fault, dammit!"

I paled, trembling. Not now, of all times...

"Everliving Underworld!"

I screamed, hives breaking all over my body. Darkness flung me back into the wall. Something cracked. I coughed up blood.

"Retreat," Master commanded. "Now we wait, bide our time until the final battle. The Fleur never stops, never rests. Loose ends shall not be tolerated."

So, so, so, so sorry!

Fade-
I cartwheeled into the council room where everyone else seemed to be. It smelled awful in here; smoky. I wrinkled my nose at the smell. So did Moana, the spirit fish. Twirling the Staff of Kindness in my hand nervously, I walked over to Zack who was throwing his dice up and down, down and up.
"What'd I miss?" I asked. He gave me a look, and I started feeling guilty I hadn't been there earlier. I'd been practicing with the Staff of Kindness and hadn't even heard the fire.

My head was humming, buzzing really, like a thousand flies were fluttering around, bouncing off my brains. I blinked a few times, trying to get my bearings. There had been a fight, that much was obvious, my entire body ached and throbbed. There had been a fight, and I had been on the losing end of it.

But who was I fighting? There was...Lost One...Kyana was the Lost One...and then Andy...and Violet...Violet!

I staggered upright, only to fall over again. I forced myself to my feet once more, and looked. Kyana and Andy were between Violet and I, but Violet...what was she doing?

Holy hell! She's got cars floating around- The cars came crashing down around us. I shrieked like a little girl, as Kyana shot Violet with...I didn't know what it was.

Violet disappeared, and Kyana collapsed into Andy's arms, blacked out.

I staggered towards them, losing my footing once more, but catching myself just before I got to them. I put my hand on Andy's shoulder for support. She shrugged it off.

"Don't touch me!" she screamed, "This is your fault!"

I couldn't argue. Had I stuck with them, instead of being swayed by Violet, neither Kyana or I would be in this shape.

"Sorry."

"Sorry? You're sorry?!" Andy shouted, "You're an idiot, that's what you are!"

I took a deep breath, "Maybe so, but-"

"Not maybe so. You are!"

"Fine! But this isn't helping Kyana. We can argue later, we need to get her out of here." I tried to pick Kyana up.

"Don't touch her."

"You can't carry her, and I don't know where to go," I insisted as I lifted Kyana in my arms, "Lead on."
