I flip through the book, and find a hamburger with hot fries. I pull them out, then flip to the back, where I grab packs of ketchup, some pickles, and mustard. I squeeze them on, then stick the plastic wrappers in the back where it says 'trash'. I then pull out a napkin. I flip to the drinks page, and order a lemonade. It is cold, and yummy. Mmmmmm.

Professor Rodrig
Yes! Yes! This is exactly what I've wanted! Fame, glory! Oh, master Samil will be so happy. I walked to the broken down house, and he met me outside.
"Well, my long gone student, you have returned... as a friend, or foe?" He said
"Friend friend! I have both girls trapped, and the boy has been trapped for months now, I just didn't exterminate him.... Soooo...."
"Is anyone there to watch them?" He asked.
"Yes, yes. Do you remember Marissa?" I asked.
"Oh, yes. The pretty young Marissa. Always one of the top students." he said admiringly. I smiled. This was going well.

Sounds perfect, Krose! I'm willing to make the good male profile if no one else wants to.

Aladria

For a moment, Rodrig just looked at us. I saw something cold come into his eyes and sensed hurt anger radiating off of him.

"Well," he said, "it doesn't matter now whether you're sorry or not. It's too late for apologies." He left, shutting the door behind him. I heard a lock turn behind him.

I sat down in one of the chairs, feeling horrible. I should've just been quiet and not said anything. I should have been more appreciative.

For a moment, I just sat there, miserable. It began to get hot and muggy. Did this room not even have air conditioning?

"Girls, can you hear me?" It was Marissa's voice, muffled through the door. I rose.

"Yeah," called Hillary. "We can. What's going on? It's getting hot in here. We can barely breathe."

"I can't get you out!" Marissa called.

"What about Rodrig?" I asked, tentatively. What was he doing? Had I really offended him badly enough that he'd leave us here?

"He..." There was a pause. "...left. For the bad twinsters! He's decieved you!" Marissa called. I sat down, hard. "But... it's okay! I'll try to help. Do you girls have ideas?"

For a moment, all I could do was stare at the ground, confused and wounded. Had he left because I hadn't been grateful? That was ridiculous... but I had this horrible feeling that this was all my fault. I realized that I was silently crying and tried to make myself stop. We had to do something.

"There has to be some way for air to get in, right?" I said. "We could use a vent..."

Marissa informed us that the room was airtight. Great. So he was going to kill us.

I started pounding against the door, but it was no use - it wouldn't budge. I wasn't any good for breaking things down anyways. I gave up, breathing hard, then tried to breath shallowly - we were going to run out of air, if Marissa was right. "I can't think of anything!" I called. My voice came out higher than usual, but I managed to keep it from wavering too much. We were going to die in here!

"Oh hold on! Keep talking... I need to know if you're still-" I say. They both start talking together. I look at controls in the operation room. I push one that says 'Mic'.
"Ahem. Can you girls hear me?" I say. Through a video cam, I see them nodding and saying yes. A tear slides down my cheek. What if I can't save them?
"I-- Can't--- Breathe---" says Aladria. She falls to the floor, and Hillary looks afraid. Then, Hillary falls too. I look at the millions of buttons that present themselves before me. RIA says one.... RIA? What the--- Wait, RIA- Air. I push it, and air flows in. I find another button that says ROOD NEPO. Open door.... I push it, and it requires a password. What could it be? I type
rodrigistotallyawesome-- Nope, that wasn't it. Aha! I have it.
marissaisthemostbeautifulwomanever-- It unlocks. I run to the room, and find the girls still on the floor. I carry one by one to their room, and set them on the beds. Aladria coughs, and then sits up. I put a shot in their arms. It is for chest pain, and breathing problems.
"Oh girls! I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry!" I say, sitting down. Tears or uncontrollable happiness of saving them roll down my cheeks.

I like the idea! Very cool. I don't think I can handle another character at the moment, so, yea, I'm fine with it, Ranger. =)

Hillary Betten

Hillary awoke slowly, leaving the black void of sleep and emerged into wakefulness. She heard her own breathing in her head, and didn’t move, overcome by an unfamiliar tingling sensation in her muscles. It felt as though she were spinning inside a whirlpool. She opened her eyes. In a haze, she took in the rich hues of a stunning room she didn’t recognize at first, and oddly enough, she didn’t have any thoughts, nor did she wonder where she was.

Before she could delve deeper into this mystery, she moved her eyes in response to a voice, coming to her from a distant. A dark, unfocused figure came near and, instinctively, Hillary sprang upward. She grabbed a blade from her belt and entangled her hand into the person’s hair, tightening her grip. With a twisted her wrist, she could feel a few strands pluck by their roots. Her victim, neutralized, she held the knife against the person’s throat.

By now, her vision had cleared and the person’s frantic expression registered as Marissa’s. An instant before Hillary began to add pressure to the blade, her eyes widened in surprise and she released Marissa, who jumped back and clutched her throat in alarm.

“What the heck are you doing!?” Marissa exclaimed.

Startled, Hillary yelled back empathically. “I thought you were sneaking up to hatchet my head or something!”

“So you knife mine instead?!”

“You could have been an assassin waiting to mark my doom! How do you not see the logic in that?!”

“I just saved your life! You—” Marissa retracted, catching herself, and took in some deep breaths to calm herself. “Forget about it, you’re okay, and that’s all that matters.”

“Are YOU okay?” Hillary asked, looking up at Marissa like she’d grown a second nose.

“Yeah,” Marissa pressed, and for the first time, Hillary noticed her tear-streaked face.

Hillary let out a sigh of relief, nodding toward Marissa’s throat. “Sorry about that. I, uh, could never afford to let down my guard before. Even in my sleep. Force of habit.”

Lowering her eyes, Hillary fell back on her elbows and slipped her knife back into a thin socket on her belt. Suddenly, she became aware that Marissa’s gaze was on her, making her feel a pressured sense to clarify herself. So, sputtering on, she said, “You know, growing up on the other side of the tracks can do that to you, embed this sort of defensive mechanism..” She gestured toward her head, averting her eyes away from Marissa’s, who nodded.

“Oh, right.” said Marissa.

At that moment, they turned their heads in unison and looked at Aladria’s bed, where she began to stir from her sleep.

Aloha, for one, Marissa would NEVER let her guard down, so that was pretty impossible, and Marissa doesn't swear....

Marissa
I had my knife in hand as soon as she lunged, also, I snuck a 'calmershot' in her leg. She almost had the knife on my neck, but I knew it would do now harm, because I had the special body guard. Even if she stabbed me, or pushed hard, nothing would happen. She was starting to press, but I felt nothing. In a matter of seconds, the calming shot kicked in, and she sat down. Just then, Aladria stirred. I walked to her, and put a pain shot into her. She sat up, rubbing her eyes, and groaning. I patted her back, and she smiled.
"I'll go get some food for you two..." I said. I watched Hillary lay back down. The shots that I had put in them before they woke up were to make them sleep. That's what they did. When they were both asleep, I closed the door. Automatically, it locked. I will have to unlock it when I get back.

Alright, I'll get started on the profile unless someone else claims it!
Aladria

"Oh, hold on!" Marissa shouted, and added, "Keep talking - I need to know if you're still..."

I couldn't catch if she said anything else, because Hillary and I both started talking. I didn't know what that would help, but I was desperate, and if Marissa knew what she was doing, I would sing and dance if she asked me to. Plus, I wasn't really thinking straight enough to do any different... thinking was getting hard.

Suddenly Marissa's voice came on again. "Can you girls hear me?" It was louder, but I couldn't figure out how because my thoughts were all swirling around. I nodded, though, in response to her question.

I realized, a little late, why my brain was acting so weird. "I can't... breathe..." I choked. I realized that I was on the ground, and that I was passing out, but there wasn't anything I could do about it, so I just let my consciousness slide away as my head hit the ground.

I was aware of a voice, and a sting. I felt a cough sputter out of my throat, and then I guess I passed out again. An hour or a minute later, my eyes reluctantly came over. I felt dizzy and muffled, and everything was sore. I shifted, trying to make the soreness stop, and felt a jabbing sting. I sat up, groaning a little with the effort it took. I felt like an old computer trying to start up - everything came slowly.

"I'll go get some food for you two," Marissa was saying. I nodded, but I felt sleepy. After a moment, I just laid back down, not even caring that I was on the ground. I felt my eyes flutter shut, but this time it was sleep, and I rested.

I finished the male Gtw profile! ^.^

Spoiler
Name: Koran Taylor

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Personality: Koran is a confident person, with a strong sense of right and wrong. He's never afraid to stand up to someone, especially if it's for someone else's good - however, if he takes enough abuse, he's prone to giving up and accepting whatever abuse he's receiving - he's surprisingly accepting in general, although he'll always try to make things better and try to help people.

Talents: Koran has supernatural vision - he can see way farther than most people.

He's also good with his hands, and he took karate for a long time so he has self-defense skills.

Strengths and Weaknesses(Include at least four weaknesses and four strengths): Strengths: Koran is intelligent and wise, able to accept things as they are but still ready to make a change in the world. He's physically strong and has good endurance. He's also good at debating with people, and he's able to figure things out quickly. Weaknesses: He's not very good at enduring pain, physical or emotional - he tends to huddle in on himself or give up. He's also no good with girls, romantically, anyways. He's prone to giving up after enough discouragement. He sometimes is too bold for his own good.

Appearance and outfit (Can be as beautiful as you want): He's got the same natural hair color and skin tone as his sister, and green eyes. He's five foot eight and slightly built.
Image
Like this, but without the piercings. (Does that look similar enough to AzMarie?)

Is this alright?

Yeah. I was ABOUT to say no to the pic (cause of the peircings) but if he doesn't, that's fine. Feel free to write how he feels. He's probably starving, from lack of food, kind of dizzy, because of lack of air in the last 24 hours, sadness because of being in there for years, etc.

Yay! Let's get this party started, then.

By the way, you guys can skip over a lot of this if you want... nothing really happens, it's just a bunch of thoughts and emotional stuff. I got a little carried away...

Karan

Waking up was the worst, I thought as my eyes slowly fluttered open. I groaned softly to myself, turning over groggily on the cot that was my bed. When I was waking up, I was faced with the whole day. A whole day of sitting here, with nothing to do, nothing to say and no one to say it to. And the worst part of it was, more often than not I'd wake up from dreams of running free, in some place other than this godforsaken room.

I sat up, slowly. The little chute that always shot my pathetic breakfast had awakened me, as usual. It was bread and milk. Not even cereal, or fruit, or anything decent like that. I bit into it, though, eating slowly despite the hunger that raged through me. I wasn't exactly being starved - I knew that - but they sure didn't feed me very well. I couldn't do anything about it, though, so I just continued eating.

I looked around at the dull, white walls that had been my world for the last... weeks? Months? I'd lost track of how long I'd been here. It didn't really matter. I wasn't going to get out - I knew that. I'd tried, the first few days, and there had been no way. Crawling through the food chute had only led to an electric shock; trying to bust the door down only gave me a sprained ankle and sore hands and feet. The walls had metal reinforcement, and there were no windows.

I'd run out of breakfast. Lunch wouldn't come in a while - about three hours, I guessed. I didn't have a clock, and my watch was dead.

So I simply sat down, looking at the folds in the single blanket on my cot. Sometimes I thought they were the only thing that kept me sane; they were the only things that changed in here. Everything else was plain white wall and grey tiled floor. I hadn't interacted with people since my food-chute incident, probably two months ago. So I simply sat down, waiting. Waiting and waiting for more days, more nothing, more being hungry. More white walls and more folds in the blanket. This was to be my life, my future - nothing. I had no future.

I didn't even realize I was silently crying until a tear fell onto the blanket. But that was normal, too. It was the only thing that convinced me that I was still a human.

So I waited, and tried not to cry too much, and tried to convince myself that there was somehow hope.

*Important!* Please read.

Spoiler
Hi, I’m sorry I haven’t posted, I’ve had some things to do.

KRose, I see where I might have controlled the reaction of Marissa in my last post, but in that moment, it seemed appropriate that Marissa be caught off guard, considering she’d just been crying. It wasn’t my intention to portray her as letting her guard down, or as being vulnerable, or cursing. I do not curse, nor do my characters. I’m sorry if you took it that way. It would have been nice if you would have told me that differently.

Also, our characters are all highly skilled. It doesn’t make sense that Marissa is the only one in control of them at all times, that they have to be saved by her and then put to sleep.

There isn’t much room for me to write creatively. It’s difficult. So, to keep down any friction in the future of this storybook, I’m going to bow out.

Thanks.
