Hey guys! I used to be an administrator of YWS. Nowadays, I'm enjoying the retired life of a DM. It is fun!
I am the top reviewer of YWS, with over 3000 reviews! Because I broke the star system, Nate put pigs for my review stars, since I love pigs so much. He is a great guy like that. Nowadays, I don't do many reviews, but if you ask for one, maybe I can help you?
As far as writing goes, I'm primarily a novelist who likes to dabble in poetry. I love to write novels, but, I have no major project going on right now. Maybe soon! For now, the main focus and joy of my life is taking care of my beautiful children.
My favorite author is probably G.K. Chesterton. His fantasies and mysteries delight me and I devour any book that I come across that is by him. Still, my favorite book ever written is probably "The Brothers Karamazov" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Every time I read it, I love it more. The characters are wonderfully alive.
I am a very happy Roman Catholic and quite willing to blabber on about my faith, if you let me. Also, if you would like a rosary, let me know!
And... that's all!

Jack is a former administrator of YWS. He has been mostly retired since around 2007. He was one of the first featured members, won the first member of the year, and had the highest prestige rating before the feature was removed. Not like he's counting or anything.
As a writer, Jack used to be a poet who dabbled in stories and attempted too many novels without ever completing them. Nowadays, he does not write, but wants to again.
In real life, Jack lives in London and works as a Clerk at the House of Commons in the UK Parliament, where he advises MPs on parliamentary procedure, and helps run parliamentary business. He was previously a Librarian. Feel free to ask him about British politics, but not Brexit, which he has decided is no longer worth talking about outside of work.
Away from work and writing, Jack enjoys running D&D campaigns for his friends, sports (football, NFL, and tennis), board games, volunteering with lonely elderly people, history, and hiking.
