Chicken Fan Club

Poetry is so cool! @Rook and I just put some time in working on our latest COOP edition (zine 6 will be out this September!!) and it is kind of mind-boggling to me that we get submissions from people from so many different ages and places and experience-levels, authors of books, teachers, professors, chicken-owners, tumblr-artists, painters, photographers, bloggers, etc. I guess our zine even came up at a random Literary Workshop Panel??? neat right? Poetry is just so cool in how it connects and multiplies and takes on its own life! I love it. At this point I think COOP has had over 100 submissions altogether since we launched, that's so much chicken art and chicken poetry.

I'm really looking forward to this next edition as you can tell ~ will update here when it's released and available! In the mean-time, did you know we are actually doing a special COOP edition open to duck and geese themed art and poetry?! So if you happen to have any of that around and would like to submit it you can find out how here (if you prefer to not use the google form for security reasons, we can also accept submissions via YWS PM for YWSers, you just have to read and accept the submission guidelines first.
