ALRIGHT Y'ALL THE TIME YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR HAS ARRIVED
I have gone through my screenshots! I have deemed them fit to be posted!

Please note that this is not the final word on what the school looks like!! This is my headcanon imagining of what it could look like! Please take this with a grain of salt and feel free to describe the school any way you please!!

with that out of the way, let me welcome you to The Royal Academy of the Magical Arts (but in the Sims)!

THE EXTERIOR:

Welcome to RAMA! This massive castle is but a mere hint of the beauty inside. I particularly like the stained glass windows here c:

The exterior of buildings is literally the hardest part to build, I feel like. Especially windows. It's like "are there too many windows? Are there not enough windows? Do the windows match the wallpaper? Do the windows match each other? Am I using windows from too many different DLC packs??"
but I digress and the windows turned out so well!

Oh yeah, and the academy is built on an island! I figured it was fitting. It's separated from the world.
I am kinda sad that I had to build it in Windenburg rather than Glimmerbrook, because Glimmerbrook is the neighborhood that came with the Realm of Magic expansion pack and would have been perfect for a magic academy, but it didn't have enough lots or large enough lots, and Windenburg is a perfectly lovely little neighborhood with a lovely Victorian-esque vibe to it.

The Entrance:

Okay, enough staring at the glorious exterior. We enter the academy into this:

With some lovely knight statues guarding the door and some nice magic light sources, the entrance hall is plain but pretty.

Through that ^ door is the Formal Dining Room, for when the headmaster needs to entertain important guests but also eat.

And through that ^ door (hidden slightly behind a statue which we will get a better look at when we go to the second floor) is the Parlor, again for receiving important guests (but without the food).

AHHHH THIS IS AMAZING!!!! :OOOO It looks so grand and majestic and exactly what a royal and magical academy would be like!! And the windows are perfect, by the way-- I love all the different colors, especially in the first image! AND THE TREE!!! The whitish-pinkish tree looks like it'd be so fun to climb or read under or something and ahhh I wish this academy existed in real life! This is making me severely tempted to download the Sims ;-; But WOW, this is absolutely wonderful <333 Thank you for blessing us with these amazing academy pictures ^-^

The Parlor:

this room, like I said, is for receiving fancy important guests!

We have a very pretty piano-forte sitting in the corner there for whoever's receiving the important guests wants to show off their skills (or, more likely, show off one of the students' musical talents).

I may have gone slightly overboard on the magic crystals sitting on almost every surface but shhhh we don't talk about that.

Man I could ramble for hours about how in love I am with the Realm of Magic expansion pack's furniture. Those bookshelves in the background?? Easily the prettiest shelves in the game. The coffee tables?? The magic crystals?? Amazing?? The pack is definitely one of the ones that I can say was well worth the thirty-ish dollars it cost me.
And I mean, not just cause of the furniture. There's also like. Wizards. So that makes it even more worth it.

Welcome to the formal dining room! Be fancy, eat food!

Fancy stuff on the walls~

The chairs are so pretty ;-; again, I could ramble for hours about how pretty the RoM pack is~
I also particularly like the dish cabinets by the windows. It adds a very nice vibe to the room.

The kitchen area, very nice. The mirrors behind the counters were a stroke of genius, if I do say so myself~

Moving on, we step into the entrance hall once more and then into...
The Hallway:

Plants!!!!!! The hallway looked super boring without them, so I added a raised platform with plants on it, and honestly I'm in love? It's so cool.

Down this hallway is the Potions classroom, the English/History classroom, and, around the corner...

Herbology and a door to one of the outdoor patios!

Looking down the other side of the hallway, we can see two of the three sets of stairs, the door to the other outdoor patio, and the Astrological Divination classroom!

When you don't know what to put on a wall, put floor-to-ceiling mirrors!

After the lighter wood paneling and tiled floors, this classroom feels almost like stepping into a different world...
Astrological Divination:

This room was so much fun to design, honestly. The moon and sky and stars themes and the darker vibe~
Also there's a small kitchen along that one wall there because it was blank and I couldn't find anything to put there so I went "Astrological divination... divination........ reading tea leaves?" So even though this is specifically Astrological divination, we have another form of divination in there. You never know what kind of divination you'll need to do at any point in time, right?

I'm very proud of myself for the crystal balls here, not going to lie. The crystal balls are actually Familiar Orbs, which come with the Realm of Magic pack and allow you to summon familiars! These ones are Familiar Orbs of the Skull.
It's kinda sad that the Realm of Magic pack doesn't have like. Actual crystal balls? But at least I was able to get creative and make them anyway.

This isn't my favourite image, but it's the only one I managed to take that had the whole moon cycle picture in it, so here we are.

Cauldrons, cauldrons everywhere!!!

The teacher gets a fancy cauldron!

Some potion samples! Immortality, Rejuvenation, Good Fortune, Plentiful Needs, Nausea, Nimble Mind, Magical Aura, Alluring Aura, Emotional Stability, Perk Purging, Forced Friendship, Masterful Insults, Curse Cleansing, Transcendent Charmer, and Prompt Resurrections are the potions that can be found on these shelves.
