   Quick summary: went to City of Angels for supplies, saw ad for Tournament of Arms, cute music scene in tavern for food, ran into Vance the photographer, stayed the night, photoshoot, went through tournament, confirmed via Howard that sword is available t win, James won first place, separated from Evaline from "after-party" that is a trap by the Gaea
   
   The Gaea is a clan/gang/community of tribalists, aka those who never historically made it to the sectors, and have out-of-control powers, violent tendencies, and able to reproduce. Ran by Mathias, and Darla (also in the tournament) is his second-in-command.
   
   James jumps forward in time after Evaline breaks him out of prison cell and fakes backstabs him while he gets beat up.

   wat happen in gaea for jamie
   
   

   • james taken to sun room, full of preggo women, not too fancy but huge step up from windowless cell, actually has sunroof
   • preggo women coddleand smother him motherly instinct kik in and james kinda justputs up with it
   • im imagining james is like just tossed limply into the room and all the moms are like OH MY GOSH sOMEONE GET THIS MAN TAKEN CARE OF and they just... r all "U OK????" the whol time
   • james gets pulled out of sunroom and to secure location wher he is tortured in front of Eve so Eve can prove her trustworthines
   • james thrown back into sunroom worse than befor, moms are all ":(((((!!!!"
   • eve eventually come to save heem

   • photographer uses eve+james photos as stock photos for adverts > james inadvertently becomes mildly "famous" after winning boxing competition and then reappearing in ads as stock photo
   • they'll see the ad twice: once the first time thats normal, and again a second time the next day with their faces on it lol
   • we can easter-egg james's mild fame by having it reach people they run into and come up in convos
