  1. Writing has been wayyyy on the back burner for me for at least a couple years now. I simply lost interest for awhile and got out of the habit of writing regularly.

So because I did this a few years ago, and it was the main reason I finished my first ever full draft of a novel, I'm going to join in again!

The main project I'll hopefully be working on is kinda a low-fantasy romance set in a knights and castles kinda time (isn't that SO historically accurate??). Anyway, my goal is to have as much fun with it as I can- it's meant to be a light, fun, slightly goofy novel.

So anyways, here's my first installation of today's writing numbers:

“Moles sometimes just appear. It’s very normal.” I said, trying to sound reassuring instead of impatient. “See, I have one right here.” I pushed my copper hair out of the way to reveal a small speck of a mole on the side of my neck. And then I regretted doing so as the princess didn’t even look up at me, and instead I got a bewildered expression shot my way from one of the younger maids. I guess it was a little strange to be comparing the princesses' flawless skin to my own, even if it was in an attempt to make her feel better about her new found blemish.

Feels like a good start! And nowwwww I'm going to see if any of my friends are still playing Arc Raiders.

“I don’t need protection.” I mumbled, breaking my gaze away from his, and fidgeting with my cloak. I was just in the presence of a naked royal, but somehow this guard makes me nervous? Unbelievable. “Besides,” I said, despite my better judgment, “No offence Sir,” I gave a weak smile to Sid, “but I’m not convinced this lad could help me if the need arose.” I tried to say it nicely, but as soon as I said it I knew it was rude of me to have mentioned it at all.

Helen carried the belief that she was always on death's door, which had been going on for at least the entire time I'd known her. To her credit, and in the nicest way possible, she did sometimes resemble a reanimated corpse, especially when you ran into her at night on your way to pee.

Helen made a scene of acting more decrepit than her usual state by fetching her walking stick and leaning into it dramatically as though it was the only thing keeping her standing, which was pretty far from the truth.
  8. I missed yesterday because had the day off work and ended up doing everything BUT write.

"Why? Are you in the market for a wife?" Helen asked the General, in a very clearly threatening tone. Which made General Hansford pause for a shockingly long moment, his mouth open in the start of what he was going to say next before Helen had cut him off.

Sunlight shown in through a window, catching the intricate jewels and bead work on the Princess's elaborate midnight blue gown. It was so gorgeous and luxurious that I caught myself wondering what her ball gowns must look like, if this was her every day attire.
  10. Welcome welcome! Glad to see your back writing again! Look at all those words!!
  11. Thank you @LadyMysterio!

Welp, I fell off the wagon there. But anyway I'm hoping to get back into the rhythm of it.

Yesterday I started making a zine for the heck of it- which if you don't know what a zine is, it's basically a little DIY book/magazine with art or whatever you want basically. So anyway, mine is a little outrageous story about the chaos that happens when you teach your dog to jaywalk. Anyway, I did some writing for that so I'm counting that! Also, I worked on the minutes for my art club.
  12. can relate to that falling of the wagon thing =D
That do be an outrageous story for the zine!
