    I wasn't sure about making a forum, so I'll just post it here...

    I'm almost finished with making the base structure of my language Üržen (IPA pronunciation: ['yrʒɛn]) which I'm creating for a new continent, some of you may know. I'm thinking of creating a lexicon for some people who would challenge themselves to speak (probably no one), or just sometimes used in an rp.
    Also making in the progress of several landmarks and cultures, I hope everyone is ready for lore... ;)

    If possible, I was going to add some short stories about mythological figures (e.g. heroes) and possibly language too, but mostly, it's language, phonology, etc.

    Pretty much wherever you're looking to flesh lore out. Like, myths about deities, mystical stories that explain why a certain plant grows where, etc. I'll look at the lore more in depth to see if there's anything specific, but just like if you need writers to fill in the little bits : )

    Ooh that sounds awesome! Right now the lore hub is severely outdated so it might be hard to navigate weak points in the lore. I am the main lorehead of Synilas and @ScarlettFire is the main lorehead of Asturia, so if you want to write lore for one of those two countries, we can definitely help out with that ^^

    I am not one of the founders or runners obviously, but I have not heard anything about that from what I’ve heard in the discord chatter, so I don’t think that’s currently being considered?

    Hey there! I must be honest, I haven't actually thought about a wiki page for this, but exploring ways of expanding YWU outside of YWS might be interesting!

    Hello all! I apologize on the radio silence for the past few months!

    There are quite a few updates that I'm excited to announce:
    • First of all, I am super excited to announce that there is a Revamp to the Roleplay Forum! This has been in the works since August (so you can see where I've mainly been, along with school XD)
    • There is now a thread for 2021 Goals and Ideas. I urge you to go over there and say hi!
    • There are more things in the future, including big plans. I'm excited to show them and see them grow with you all!
    • Aether's Heart is getting a a novelized version! So if the Storybook format was making it hard to read, there's a more digestible version there. And you can review and leave feedback if you so wish.
    • Speaking of novels, there is now a story about The Forgotten Ch. 1, a person with ties to Aether's Heart.

    Hello everyone. I wanted to give some updates on everything that I have done so far for YWU in the past few weeks, and give you an update on my thinking process for the rest of the year.

    So far I have:
    • Updated the Story So Far List to include all current YWU Storybooks and characters
    • Updated the Story So Far List to have an updated map with colored borders and locations
    • Updated the Story So Far to include all Aether's Heart posts to this date
    • Updated the character list to include all current Storybook characters
    • Update the YWU Introduction to give a bit more information, as I've been told that it's hard to understand what to do or where to go
    • Added an internal timeline story-wise to keep better track of everything that's happening in YWU. This will be greatly beneficial to all admin work in the future

    I am super happy with this progress, but I think there's still a lot to be done!

    Here's what's on my to-do list short-term:
    • Update The Story So Far to include On Stolen Wings, a Lost Tomb, and Myth Arisen.
    • Add that internal timeline to On Stolen Wings, a Lost Tomb, and Myth Arisen.
    • Update the map to include town names
    • Update the Lore Upkeep Thread, because there's a lot of lore that's been introduced in the story so far!

    After all that's finished, I think I'm finally on a comfortable path to start thinking about YWU's first Event and Expansion. I'm excited to share more about that in the future with you all :D

    UNTIL THEN, I would love to hear if anyone is thinking about creating a story? We have a good plethora of Storybooks here but no stories! Even if you have just a thought, I'd love to here it and perhaps help out as well.

    I can't wait to see what the rest of this year brings for YWU
