Yeeeah, I'm not planning to create my own Storybook any time soon, actually! Got a few more things to analyze before that happens. I also didn't create my own roleplay, but I did create a DTWH thread with @AstralHunter!
Slugterra: Discovery & Evolution ← Right here! s'called Slugterra: Discovery & Evolution. A bit of a personal project, but to put it simply, we're using avatars to dive into the world of Slugterra, which is a Canadian cartoon in which Slugs exist (think Pokémon, but much smaller and about as cute, potentially more) and are used as magical live ammo for gunslingers that use 'em in an underground techno-magic setting.
I hope it sounds awesome because it really is.
Because of my slow butt, we haven't gotten anything past the first post, but we'll go back to that eventually. It was never supposed to be fast, anyway, so it helps!

I sure do! Use fancy titles, I mean. Names are super important to me, and what do you know - so are titles! I usually make them rather big and choose a specific nomenclature for 'em. Twinkiel's an exception to that rule, because every single of his posts is treated like a separate writing piece. The content is the continuity, but the title represents the happenings - so, depending on how serious or cartoony said happenings are, they're gonna have different phrasing. I never change font, though! I could, but it would kinda mess up the unity of each post. Since, y'know, they're still related to each other. Here's a few examples of some of my favorite post titles!Spoiler
Kysaline – Project 1: Bossing-out a hoodlum in style
↑ For Kysaline B.Ware, I enjoyed the whole idea of her being in a family that only cares about business, so every single of her posts are projects - which sounds business-like until you reach the actual title, phrased like a kid that wants to be cool. Because she's bored and just wants to make things fun.
Twinkiel – It's raining 'Mons!
The Twinkiel title style is a personal riot to come up with because it's basically just adapting very specific references into the setting he's thrown in. This one, of course, comes from the wonderful song that is "It's Raining Men".
Twinkiel – Devil's Lamb vs Envoy of Fright
↑ This is just me having fun with Twinkiel's public nickname, Devil's Lamb, a reference to his cute appearance contrasting with his cruel tendencies, and the Envoy of Fright, another nickname for a criminal named Darius that Twinkiel had to fight. Now, what I enjoy so much about this title is this:
...Who do you root for? XD Like, you know that Twinkiel's the "hero" of this story, but the title makes it sound like there are two evil forces fighting and you have to stand there and root for whoever's your favorite, or not root at all. I love this idea, because it means that you have to actually think about it, instead of going "Oh, Superman VS Doomsday. Guess I'm supposed to root for Superman." Can't do that if the title is "Doomsday VS Darkseid" XD
Twinkiel – Hive ho, Moskito!
Another reference - from Rayman, specifically - adapted into something that just sounds cartoony and not very English, just like the character introduced in said title.
Zoness: From the depth of the ocean – To you, I say “Kioo”!
First part of the title sounds ominous or poetic, and it's completely destroyed by the strange-sounding "to you, I say "Kioo"! that comes after it. Love the contrast, and loved writing for Zoness for that reason. She's like Twinkiel, but actually nice, and not necessarily cute-lookin'.
Paggya – Spicing up the Heavenly table
↑ The phrasing of that. Also, the fact that she's a half-demon girl actually ascending to an actual, heaven-like place to put herself as the next godly figure to vote for. It sounds about as funny as it was to write.
Gracovitz – Beautiful Glee Monster
Again: the phrasing! In this case, I chose to focus on trying to describe the character involved, instead of the situation said character's gonna be a part of. The words beautiful, glee and monster aren't usually associated, which suggests that this character isn't exactly common, either.
Heitor – Here comes the grim: Lippa
Just a modification of the word Ripper to make the name Lippa, and a piece of immediate information given to the reader: "This Lippa character is the cutest thing in existence trying to appear scary. She isn't scary. She. Is. Freakin'. Silly."
Pango Lyn: “I’m the Boss!” Chaotic tunes of a tiny tyrant
Aaah, Pango Lyn... With him, I just wanted to go with a quoting system (the quote always appears somewhere in the post) + "something-something of a tiny tyrant", to make a constant reference of his nickname (The Tiny Tyrant) + a new facet of both the title and the character. It grew into a series, the next one being "“Come and play, please!” Gleeful strings of a tiny tyrant
And there you have it! Really fun to experiment with everything and come up with fancy gimmicks to use.
