Vegetables, Cake, and Mint's mysterious disappearance.

2 posts in this topic.

  1. Here's a new topic for us to discuss classified's latest schemes and how to counteract them.

Right now the latest threat to the site comes in the form of vegetable messengers... we have yet to know their purpose, but we do have ample evidence of chaos including one of our Global Moderator's very mysterious disappearances... Spearmint.

Also there's a lot of mentions of cake on the people tab right now, and this may be connected.

And Duo the Duolingo owl may be involved.

If you have additional clues / theories / solutions, feel free to drop them here or on the club wall as we figure out what needs to be done.

    > Cake Days
    > Avatar Changes (Leya, Ailah, Quill, Hijinks) ... potato, duo-owl, guinea pig, dinosaur... all animals... uh except the potato.

  2. Okay, so I've been thinking about this A LOT and I think that @Spearmint is still in grave danger, despite being "back." I posted this on the wall, but...

For a little bit I was confused because I thought that maybe it was a weird coincidence that #stupidevilpotato was now a hashtag. But you know what they say about coincidences. So then I thought about it... and potatoes are root vegetables. When people talk about the worst evil, they sometimes refer to it as the Root of All Evil.

    COINCIDENCE??? I think not.

Then, later Spearmint defended potatoes here:

Which you know... Spearmint is very nice and I can see her defending potatoes. EXCEPT. Her other like history...

Clearly, she is trying to tell us a message. She is saying things that she means the opposite of. So, I think this means that ACTUALLY potatoes are evil. And maybe that will give us the hint as to who is really behind this.

The one thing I don't understand is... how are fruits involved? There seems a lot of talk about vegetables but only passing (and very vague) mentions of fruit. It makes me suspicious...
