Poem A Week

This a club for weekly poetry prompts ~ created by CaptainJack and is currently ran by alliyah with occasional prompts submitted by PCrew or other users!

If you have your own poetry prompt feel free to make a post. We also usually use this club for boosting advertising for poetry-activities on site, but prefer that this club is not used for promoting individuals' personal work. The aim is to have a year long challenge with the purpose of writing on poem per week.

If you'd like to share your work and weekly progress please click on the "forum" section of the club and make a thread to share your work. Comments are allowed and welcome in all threads.

You walk into this room at your own risk, because it leads to the future, not a future that will be but one that might be. This is not a new world, it is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super states that preceded it, it has one iron rule: logic is an enemy and truth is a menace.
