Hey guys, here's the contest!
Basically what I want you to do is look at your napo poems and look at the similarities and differences. Then, take lines from each and combined them together to make a singular poem.
I'll give a few days for this, so let's saaaaay the 15th? Have fun and good luck!

okay - I've never written a poem like this, but here we go...
Spoiler
I can't remembercatching fish going fishing
and in the end,Fish apparently can't remember things. They forget.
as the poison set in,
on fire, to spite,
where they should be strong -
This was fun!
Spoiler
i keep losing words
i could tell you
you told me that dandelions were sun drops
might be whisky or the midnight rain
but i had a hard time believing
because for now, I am too afraid
there may be a small chance
drowning is death disguised as breathing
and i'll tell you i love you in
a word said at an imperfect
point in time. Because it's
empty bottles in a ditch, kicked away
and write our names in ashes
and wondering if silvery letters still cross your mind.
you told me that you cared
and you clutched my hand in your own.
you told me that you cared
and telling secrets with voices hushed so quiet
that you and the stars are the only ones to hear
and sometimes i wonder if
i would have been better off if we never met
but i don't think it'd even
make a difference
but sometimes
i think it might.
but i don't find that regretting the flame
is much help when you're still trying to extinguish coals. -
[spoiler]"okay let's do this".
In spring, I lost my mind,
from noble men with poisoned words.
Do you not sculpt with perfect hands?
i was lost most of that summer,
but at least when you were there,
we could be lost together.
On many things we disagreed,
discomfort highlighting
the gaps between us.
Like graham crackers we were broken apart,
and my desire to kiss you
was stronger than nicotine.
but honestly I'm just too lazy
to break the barriers of friendship.
and even when my brain collapsed,
campfire nights are lodged in my heart.
Though that summer was long ago,
forgetting is the hardest part.
