We've made it three months out of the year! Unfortunately, I don't believe I'll be able to continue hosting for a while, due to emotional constraints and time commitments. I know any of my officers would love to take it up in my stead, but I also feel like all of our competitors are a teensy bit burnt out.
To be fair to everyone involved -- SAW is ending for a little while. I'll open it back up again probably in September when everyone has had time to recover and is settled back into school.
Feel free to continue to update progress threads if you like! Week 15 rewards will be sent out momentarily!
The contest will return in three months.
I haven't been able to keep up with this competition as much as I'd hoped; hell, I can't even get my own stories in most of the time. I'm pushed to the limit right now as far as real life goes, but expect Week 15 rewards to go out this coming Monday.

For each story written from Week 6 to Week 10, you have received 50 points! In addition, if you submitted between Weeks 1 and 5, your reward has been increased by 15 points per story, for a possible total of 325!
I know I've been fairly radio silent lately, but I've been working on some big projects of my own. Fear not! I've got some exciting stuff waiting in the wings for y'all!

Y'all have been working so hard at getting your stories in each week. So many people are submitting! So I figured I'd dip into some rewards early and get these out to you ASAP.
If you have submitted 1 story, you have received 50 points. 2 stories, 100; 3, 150; 4, 200, and if you submitted every week of the first month, you've received 250 points! (Here's looking at you, @Sonder.)
If you submitted nothing, you get a gentle nudge towards the submission thread. ;D And a reminder you that you, too, have the potential to win something just by writing a single short story a week!
[Side note, if I got any counts wrong or didn't give you enough points, just poke me towards the submissions thread and ask me to recount. My spreadsheet is kind of erratic right now and it's entirely possible I could have missed a submission.]
For those joining us late: Jump in at any time! And don't worry about missing out on rewards. ;D Monthly rewards will be given out every 5 weeks -- yeah, the math comes out screwy, but it's easier than adjusting for every month. And for each 5 weeks you've participated in SAW, your rewards will increase!
At the end of the competition, it's not how early you started, but how consistent you are in submitting that will earn you the title of victor. Charge on, into Month Two!
