I would say that my favorite anime is Natsume and the Book of Friends. It's so wholesome. Almost every episode is a stand alone (the conflict is resolved in one episode) so it's very chill and comforting. However, the action picks up in season 4 and it's really cool.

I also really love March Comes in Like a Lion. It's about shogi which is a game I knew nothing about before watching but despite not knowing about shogi the anime is still so so so amazing. It's wholesome. It has amazing animation and storytelling. I honestly love all the characters. I relate to the main character a bit because honestly I feel similarly about my writing as he does about shogi (love hate relationship). I cannot recommend it enough.

Some other titles I'm always recommending are: Boku no Hero Academia, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, A Place Further Than the Universe, 91 Days, Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles, and Tanaka-kun is Always Listless. As you can tell I really enjoy slice of life anime, but to be honest I like anything with a good story so I would watch any genre.

I don't have a favorite, being honest. I immediately fall in love with whatever anime I'm currently watching rip

But if like, if I had only one day left to live, then the one I'd watch would unironically be Death Note.

Oh damn that's one long list but most liked have to be the monogatari series, fate series, akudama drive, overlord and grandblue. Monogatari is full of random stuff that makes little sense and it's disturbingly fascinating, fate is one hell of an action packed anime, akudama is one that remains in my mind ever since I finished it, overlord is awesome because overpowered mc. And grand blue is the best comedy I could watch in anime form.

-BLACK CLOVER!!! I get that Asta is just a mini Goku but at this point, I don't plan on watching DBZ so it doesn't matter. Besides, Yami is iconic and there's no getting around that fact.

-FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: BROTHERHOOD!!! The first anime that ever made me cry- for reasons

and also I love how it examines religion/government/morality in general.

-Blood Blockade Battlefront, Attack on Titan, Ouran High School Host Club, SOUL EATER OMGEEEE, and a LOT more but these are the ones my short term memory can remember me loving right now.
