  1. I've been going back and forth on what I want my goals to be this year. I know for sure I want to shoot for a manageable number, like one or two pieces a week.

    Option 1: Sketchbook
    - Finish WIPs
    - Create own prompts or find a fun one online
    - Prioritize moving away from realism and developing a looser/blockier style
    - Use a different medium for each painting/drawing

    Option 2: Projects
    - Create digital mockups for more ambitious designs
    - Watercolor paper
    - Graphite --> watercolor

    I'm leaning towards the second one because I've been working in my sketchbook a lot lately and I'd like to use the upcoming month to put those skills/techniques I've practiced to the test! I have a dream of having my own booth at one of those art fairs someday, and if that's gonna happen, I need to make stuff I can sell!

    Ooo and I also have a couple Christmas commissions lined up already!
  2. Inktober is upon us so it's time to make a decision - I'm going with option 2! For the first project I want to create a "Welcome to New Vegas" vintage-style postcard in watercolor, inspired by my favorite video game (Fallout: New Vegas). Stay tuned for updates on my progress! C:
  3. Slight adjustment to that: it'll be Greetings From New Vegas, not Welcome to
  4. Image

    The sketch layer is well underway!

    The bluish line you see around the inner perimeter of the letters is drawing gum that will protect the white of the paper from paint when I begin the watercolor layer >:3
  5. Ohhhh love it - Very cool Wolfi! Love an expressive eyebrow too! Looking forward to seeing final product if you share it! :)

If it wasn't for poetry, I couldn't express myself.
