   This will be my seventh year of inktober attempts! :) Making my thread a tad early because I like my currently purple username and want it to appear in the forum the key.
   
   Feel free to leave comments if you like, but no critiques please - I just do this purely for fun. :]
   
   This year my goals...
   
   -> post at least 10 pictures (digital or ink or maybe watercolor?)
   -> 1 saint?
   -> 1 chicken?
   -> possibly catch up on my bird doodle thread
   -> have fun!

   You might see more watercolor birthday cards from me this month, as that is one of my favorite artsy things to do - going with just a VERY simple design for this first entry. But hey, it's a start to the month right?

   Practicing my Greek skills a little bit!
   λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς Ἐγώ εἰμι ἡ ὁδὸς καὶ ἡ ἀλήθεια καὶ ἡ ζωή (John 14:6). One of the most important quotes we have from Jesus - because here he makes clear he is one with the same God as the God who revealed themself to Moses as "I AM" - He is fully human, fully God. And he makes an exclusive claim to the path for salvation. Love the Greek too because path/way (odos), truth (alethea), and life (zoe) have even a greater scope of meaning and connection than the English captures.

   ~ drew a map today! and it's pretty fun and artsy ~ not posting because personal locations on it, but it's cool! I'm leading a craft project thing after church this Sunday, so was trying to make an example! ~

    inktober 5: floral wreath
    
    Well I've been making a lot more water-color cards than anything else this Inktober - I made a whole bunch of these types of cards for "thank you cards" and then this one for a friend's wedding anniversary - added a little circle image in the middle to omit the names of the couple. I love how it turned out.

    Another doodle for NaNo brainstorming - Hardy is the secretive Robin Hood type character in my NaNo project, so I've got a bag full of stolen coins for him.
