Salut!
I've been learning Latin for three years - being homeschooled it's part of my curriculum - and I though, who else might be learning Latin, whether part of school or not?
So I made this topic. Brilliant, am I not?
If you have any questions or just want to practice your Latin, feel free to drop by!

I'm supposed to learn Latin, but my school can't find a teacher. I don't really want to learn Latin, though, I want to focus on Spanish because to me it seems more useful because I will be communicating with people in Spanish and not in Latin.

Yeah, true, but there are so many derivatives in all the romance languages from Latin, which makes it (for me, at least) interesting to learn.

I know a little Latin, as in suffixes and prefixes and words that come from Latin and stuff.

Salve!
I'm taking Latin III this year with one other student. The class has never been offered before, so we're basically going into brand new territory. Even though my friend and I are in Latin III, the class' name is Intermediate Latin Workshop - there's also the four Latin II students in it. We get independent studies for it and it's wonderful, though my friend and I are trying to stay at the same pace so we can help each other out.
What book do you use for your work? We're still using Ecce Romani, the book we were assigned when we were freshmen, but we should be starting Ecce Romani II by the end of the year. -
I am learning Latin, ugh. *Jumps off a window*
