And make some introductions!
Hey all, I'm Stella, I'm 24, I live in Dublin and I unironically refer to myself as a yopro/young professional. I graduated from medicine in 2016, I finished a fairly gruelling intern year last month and I'm spending this year working for six months in mental health and then travelling with my boyfriend (here on in known as Boy) for six months. In my free time I bake, knit, and write stories about handsome young men falling in love with spiders.
Let's for a second pretend we don't all know each other

Hey hi hello, I'm Sachiko! I'm twenty-five and I live in New Hampshire. I work part time washing parts at a plastics manufacturer and I spend all my spare time either kissing my cat's forehead, writing books about people in the mob who make poor choices, other books about astrological tomfoolery, and ignoring all my laundry.

Hello! I'm Lauren, I'm 25, and I live in Chicago with my partner and two fur babies. I have my masters degree in fiction writing but currently I'm a social media pro which I still feel like is a made up job, but it involves a lot of writing blogs about real estate and personal finance so YOLO? In my spare time I write books about the end of the world, play video games, and act like I have other hobbies.

Hi! I'm Mesh and I'm 28 and a librarian. And I magically have a job in my field, which is most of the battle where I live. Though I am on the lookout for one that would be a step (or four) up from my current one.
I also write poetry, play clarinet, harass my orange monster of a cat, get asked when I'm getting married (uh, that would require someone I actually want to marry/wants to marry me, nosy relatives), and read way too much. And I know more about kids lit than I ever thought possible. -
Hello! I'm 25 and I live in Indiana with my spoiled fur baby Neville (the bunny). I have a masters degree in mental health counseling and I work with children/families in community mental health. I like to write novels about teenagers falling in love and in my free time I read about teenagers falling in love. I also like to knit, bake, hike with boy, read Harry Potter, and lovingly stare at/cuddle with Neville the bunny. (He's too cute for his own good <3)

Hiiii. Rosey, living in Southern Ontario with my little kitty. I have a trade school (3 year) diploma in advertising, work in the field primarily in content marketing with the odd dash into sales (so basically the same job as Lauren). I mostly write fantasy influenced by the human parts of society and spend my free time watching too many forensic shows.

Hello! I'm Demeter, I'm 24 (25 in December - MY GOD I JUST REALISED THAT JESUS) and I live in Finland with my boyfriend whom some people know as Charlie. (Most people, I guess - that is his name.) We just opened a joint bank account and an apartment saving account.
I graduated earlier this summer with a Masters degree in translation and I work from home as a dubbing translator of children's TV shows, which hopefully keeps me young as I'm watching stuff directed at 2-10-year-olds all day every day. I love working from home as it means being able to divide my time however I want, but it remains to be seen whether I will lose my mind not seeing any people ever apart from Charlie.
I used to spend most of my money on makeup, now I feel like I spend most of my money on homeware. That's not quite true. I also love vintage clothing and that costs an arm and a leg.
I feel this intensely (thank you Carlito):I like to write novels about teenagers falling in love and in my free time I read about teenagers falling in love.

By the way, I also love baking. My new favourite thing is a pistachio KitchenAid called Shirley. <3

Demeter's pistachio KitchenAid matches my pistachio KitchenAid, which was unchristened for its first year of life, but since she named hers Shirley, mine has been named Vera. Just as an FYI. She is my pride and joy (even though I haven't baked in weeks! Maybe this weekend?)

Hey hey hey! I'm Cadi, I'm 25, and I live in London! I have a masters in Computer Science, and I work as a software engineer. In my spare time, I cook tasty food, buy a lot of books and second-hand DVDs, and spend a lot of time ignoring said books/DVDs in favour of ones I know and love. I also like to pretend I'm writing fiction, when in actual fact I am just filling up a notebook with circular rehashings of "hey wouldn't it be cool if someone wrote a book where..." statements

I'm probably the youngest here but hey, I'm Skye and I'm a 21 year old living in the Philippines. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Management with a minor in English literature. Currently, I'm going through my second year in law school.
I like playing video games and recently bought myself a Nintendo handheld. I also like drawing, 3D modelling, and writing though I haven't done the latter much recently. In terms of genre, I dabble in anything that catches my attention. At the moment, I prefer realistic/dramatic fiction... although there is drama too in that one fantasy I'm daydreaming of sometimes. -
Hello! I'm Becki. I'm 28 and I live in Scotland with a grumpy Polish immigrant and our cat Toothless. I have a degree in Film and Photography and work in television as a Post Producer (which probably sounds much more exciting than it is).
In my spare time I tap dance, I help at a cat shelter, torture myself over writing, read, go to the cinema, cuddle my cat, sleep a lot, eat a lot, watch anime, stare at tumblr, annoy the grumpy Polish immigrant, drink tea...
At the moment I write about ghosts and spectral dogs. -
Hi, I'm Blue. I'm 26 but I don't have any sort of degree yet because College Is Expensive. I'm planning to return to school next year, get a bachelor's in English, in the meanwhile get a Certificate of Nonprofit Management, and then go on to business school to put my certificate toward a Master's of Organizational Leadership.
For now, I'm the scan coordinator at a grocery store (that's a professional-sounding way of saying I'm in charge of pricing) and I also head a nonprofit after school program that helps at-risk kids improve their math and reading skills. The grocery store sucks my soul out (but I'm planning quit when I return to school, YIKES HELP), but I love working the nonprofit.
I'm divorced, but that's okay because the relationship was bad for me and I needed to get away. Now I'm much happier, both in my relationship with my boyfriend (henceforth referred to as Sir) and my life, just everything, really. I like myself more, too.
In my spare time, I read, write, garden, sing, scrapbook, paint when I remember to and don't have something else to do immediately, and cook and bake when the mood strikes. -
Oooh character intros!
People here call me Lava, and I'm *gasp* 25, and I just moved to Durham in the US for a PhD program.
I want to do some research in genetics/medical field, and use that for maybe teaching or education policy or... we'll see what lies ahead!
I am currently obsessively investing in making my new home pretty and I spend too much money on kitchenware and homeware. Seriously guys, my bathroom is all set up and it's super cute in shades of yellow and gold, and if I could figure out how to upload images I would show to you guys.
I don't live with my boyfriend, but we have a plan. In any case I'm hoping to get a dog to get some cuddles and my replace for Boy, and he's getting a lizard to replace me.
In my spare time, I'm trying to find new hobbies. I do love cooking and baking, and my new housemate is a more accomplished baker and I am hoping to learn from her. And also starting GoT. -
