What is Review Month?

Review Month is an annual, month-long event that takes place on YWS every September. From September 1st to September 30th, users participate in a variety of challenges, hashtags, and events that focus on reviewing works of other site members. This event focuses on creating quality reviews that provide meaningful feedback to the receiver!

There's so many fun ways to participate this year - including the classic checklist challenge and banner challenge! Throughout the month of September, you can unlock special username colours based on how many reviews you write. These will be updated once a week based on how many you have written in total, up to that point in the month. Anyone who writes 50 reviews can choose any of these 4 username colours to keep for two weeks into October!
