I'm glad you're putting so much thought into this. <3 How will Zeke defeat the second set of antagonists in the next book?

I haven't given it much thought and I'm really bad when it comes to ideas for the ends of my stories. I think I would like it to lead up to a war or the countries about to go to war or something like that. Zeke would be working to try to prevent the war from taking place like by infiltrating the enemies palace. -

He'll be looking after his new daughter and watching her grow. As a career, he'll start teaching people about the positives of dark magic and to use it correctly to end the stigma around it. He'll also restart his learning at the palace between the first and second book to enhance his magical knowledge. This learning will stem into a high position as a wizard in the palace. -
How does being a "single parent" affect how Zeke raises the girl?

@Lael Thank you for your question! Sorry it took me so long to reply.
It will be difficult for him as he has no experience with children. He was the only child his parents had so he grew up with no sibling and other kids stayed away from him. He does have the support of his dad and he may develop a love interest during the book but I'm concrete on all my characters yet. He would take Kezie with him to the palace and while he is working she can be learning how to properly use her sightseer abilities. In the second book, when Zeke has to go to Dorn he doesn't want to bring her with him as he doesn't want her to get hurt but she follows him anyway. -

My favourite is how Silvermore is split up but I've talked about that so I'll go through more about the other countries.
Una- It's a coastal city to the south and it's well known around the world for its beautiful coastlines. People come from all over to find the rare fish that live in the sea and the rock pools. It's an incredibly diverse area and as such has vast amounts of wealth. The sea palace, which is a shine to their God, Celebes, is decorated with gold and pearls.
Shin- It's a country steeped in its tradition and many say hasn't changed in hundreds of years. They are known for their great historical libraries but they are only rumoured as only a few foreigners are allowed into the country. The royal family is very keen on keeping the country away from the outside especially with the war.
Dorn- It's a country that sits beneath the mountains. They mine from the mountains and are considered a tough group of people. Their lives centre on mining, building weapons and fighting. The land is barren and there isn't much food, but they sell their powerful weapons to buy food from other countries. Within the mines, they found a special metal which allows them to craft special weapons.
