@Lael Imagine 5th century Ireland. Small communities that live and work together. Hunting and gathering as well as some small farms. They look to the druids for leadership, prophecies, and advice. They're a little nervous around them, but they trust them. The druids are seen as the leaders and priests of society. Especially in the wilder places where people still lived in tribes.
@Saen No, I like questions about characters! The smaller and less complicated questions aren't as hard for my brain to answer haha. Anyhow, I'd say Frei would pass time being an absolute bother to anyone he's near. Shapeshifting into the weirdest possible things or becoming invisible and terrorizing people. Not hurting anyone or doing any actual harm (in fact sometimes he usually cleans up his mess and sometimes makes it look nicer than before) but he takes joy in chaos.
Ciara would probably spend time crafting things and exploring in nature. She likes to draw and writes just a little. Druids are in tune to nature and all that, so she'd love animals and possibly be able to understand them better than the average human. She's creative and likes to expel that creativity by making things. In the modern world she'd probably make and sell all sorts of cool crafts.

What is your main characters' least favorite thing to do?

Oooh, those sound interesting! And annoying, mischievous characters are the absolute best when it comes to having some down time in stories.
You probably won't be as excited about this question, but what do your characters love to eat the most? -
@Lael For Frei it'd be to act human. He hates having to shift into the nearest thing to human for the sake of not causing a disturbance and hiding that he's a crazy Fae. He hates being "natural" or "normal". For Ciara it's the opposite, acting unnatural or abnormal. Getting out of her comfort zone. Yes she's friendly and doesn't mind talking to people and even a larger group of people, but doing something she isn't sure she can do right makes her anxious.
@Saen Frei will eat literally anything. He pretends to be picky sometimes because he knows it irks people, but he usually will devour whatever you give him. Ciara likes whatever the 5th century equivalent is to shepherds pie. So the savory cooked meat with veggies and all but no potatoes. I've got to find a name for this dish but yeah. It's that. -

So do you have any major plot twists planned for this? -
Plot twist: Morgan y Fae isn't as bad as she seems.
I plan on having some slight interaction with this famed "bad girl" so she can fight the druids and it'd be cool. Because she'll loose her power too if the druids get their hands on Albion, which they plan on doing.
Also it's a bit of a twist that the druids are the bad guys in the first place so. -
Oooh! I recognize that name. Is there any other major nods to Celtic mythology or stories?

I make a few references to Fionn MacCoul (that's the Englishy sound version of his name) who was a hero/sometimes giant/etc. And there's King Arthur in there somewhere. Also the Aes Sidhe. This is entirely based off Celtic mythology so there's a lot of nods to the more famous stories.

Oh man! I'm a sucker for Arthurian lore. Does he come into play a lot in the story, or is it a fun little Easter egg? -
@Lael they're just part of the story. Probably the most important referenced characters is Merlin, since he helps mentor her a little near the end of the story. He's the guardian of Albion, while Ciara is trying to fill in as the guardian of Hibernia.
@Saen near the end he plays a big role because he defends Albion from the druids. He leads the human army. The Sidhe to play a big part in that too. Also I plan on having Morgana y Fae in there at some point.
