3 Word Challenges has been inactive due to many reasons, but we are back!
Okay, it's been really rough lately, so I took a break from a lot of things on YWS, and Clubs was one of them. But as I become more active and accepting of everything, I have come back.

Here are the results for the latest challenge:
    First Place - @haredrier
I really liked the graphic picturing in your story, so well done!

    Second Place - @JuliasSneezer
I really liked the detail and the overall topic of the story ^^

    Third Place - @GalacticPhantom24 and @herbgirl
I was tied between your works, so I'll give it both third ^^

I really liked all of your works, and I wish I could write more about each one, but I'm trying to get a lot done so well done to all of you! Shipping points over soon!

i wanted to now do you have to subscribe to join the club? What do you have to write about? And what do you get if you write a short story? Oh if you do have to subscribe I might join. And what does subscribing do?

    WritingIsFun replied · Mar 24, 2020

oh can you write about anything you want?

    WritingIsFun replied · Mar 24, 2020

never mind, I figured the part were you write your storys, and what to right about, but if you subscribe do you earn points if you win a contest or something. that's all that I know so far.

    WritingIsFun replied · Mar 24, 2020

sorry not were you write your storys, what you write your storys about. do you like chose three words, and then other people add on to that? Were do you write your storys!?

    looseleaf replied · Mar 24, 2020

    1. You do not have to subscribe to join the club.

    2. You can write about anything!

    3. This club isn't for short stories. Basically, you start a story everyone can join! If you start a story with "...Once there was..." and the next person might say "...a giant duck..." and the next "...with bright pink..." and so on so forth.

    4. Subscribing sends you notifications when someone posts in the club.

    5. You start/join stories in the club forum! And, as I said before, you write three words then the next person does and so on.

    I hope that helped!

    Challenge Two Results

First Place: Herbgirl -- I absolutely loved your piece because I can relate to it the most. It's incredible how you thought of that! I loved ot so much.

Second Place: Ellstar -- I really liked the twist here. Your writing has always intrigued me. I couldnt chose between you or Julias' but well done!

Follow-Up Second Place: JuliasSneezer -- I really liked your story as well, and as I said, I could not chose between yours and Ellstar's.

Congratulations everyone! Points and reviews will be rewarded soon.

    JuliasSneezer replied · Aug 27, 2016

    I'm honored.

Can we post our stuff for reviews and stuff as well as submit it?

    herbgirl replied · Jul 28, 2016

    Too late I'm doing both

I am very pleased with all of the submissions. I've read through them all and I'll probably go read them all again, but I have chosen the placings.

If I could, I'd give you all first placing. However, we have two first placing because I hate choosing so yeah.

First Place: Ellstar - Cheap Cigarettes
    - This piece was incredibly intriguing to me. I was actually kind of startled by it at first and it turns out that I really like it. You didn't pour information out all at once. You spaced everything out. Well done.
TheSilverfox - Have the Body of Evidence
    - Now this piece was also very intriguing to me as well because it reminded me of a lot of those mystery novels where it's all just---evil. I loved it though because the way you portrayed the entirety of the plot was amazing. So also, well done to you.

    Second Place: AnarchyWolf - Untitled
    - I absolutely loved this topic as well. It's one that I, personally, have dealt with. Bullying is a topic people tend to overwrite about, but I like how you portrayed this as well. ^^

    Third Place: NympheaLily - Untitled
    - This piece was also interesting to me. I liked the topic and all. I also liked
the ending a lot because it also struck me. I do suggest you extend the story a little more but I liked this one.

Special thanks to all the other people who entered.
CupcakesForRealMen - I loved your piece. However, I did request that this entry wasn't fantasy, and you had a dragon within it. I loved the piece because of that reason but I was looking for a realistic type of view on this entry.

    JuliasSneezer replied · Jul 21, 2016

Ah! Sorry, I probably missed that part. thank you very much anyhow, and congratulations to the winners!

    AnarchyWolf replied · Jul 22, 2016

    Congrats everyone! And thanks @Eternity - I didn't think I'd place :)

  • TheSilverFox
Ugggh, the air conditioner in my house died, it's getting very hot, a bunch of people are expected to show up today, and I highly doubt I can finish any entry of mine before noon. So I'm not sure I can enter a story in this challenge. *sighs* Sorry about that.

    TheSilverFox replied · Jul 20, 2016

Okay, on second thought, I can actually do this. It will be a relatively short story (1,000-1,500 words), but, given how long mine typically are, maybe this will be a refreshing break. I think I can finish it in the next 15-30 minutes, hopefully, and submit it before the deadline. So yay, I actually accomplished something. At the last minute, but...still a victory. :P

    Eternity replied · Jul 20, 2016

Yay! I'll check it out now! ^^

  • Eternity replied · Jul 15, 2016

I was originally looking for short stories but I guess. I don't want everyone doing poetry though. But sure!
