I finish adjusting the last decoration and take a step back to admire my work. The common room was now decorated with the colors of both my house and the Slytherin house. The other members of my house had been glad to help with preparing for the party, something I was grateful for.
It wouldn't be long until the other house arrived. When the doors opened and the first of the guests entered, I was glad that I had gotten food from the kitchens before decorating.
I grinned. Now it was time for some multihouse fun!

I looked around, I was invited to a party by a Hufflepuff friend of mine, so of course I couldn't decline. Especially since it's a party! Though I'm pretty scared about how the other 'Puffs will think of me, with Slytherin's less than savory reputation (Just because of a snakey baldy! Seriously, one doesn't dictate all.) and of course, her being terrible with socializing in general.
Going through the doors she put on her Slytherin cunning and smiled pleasantly, "Hello, I was invited here by a friend." -
I run along the AC vents. I heard in the great hall that there was a party, and I don't want to miss it! I thump along the narrow space, and am sure that the people below could hear me. I feel the loose patch of ceiling as soon as I press weight onto it, and fall into it. Colors blur past me as I fall, and I land with a mighty crash onto the ground. I get up, dust myself off, and look around. I'm in the Hufflepuff common room. "Oh. Hey, Malamaya! We met earlier, remember?"

I slowly look around the common room at all the people. I don't know anyone here, I normally kewl to myself. But the majority of slytherins were coming so I decided to tag along. I admire the decorations that Mage put together.

I stared up at the part of the ceiling that @JuliasSneezer had dropped down from. She seemed to always do that, for some strange and unknown reason. She definitely was one of the most quirky 'Puffs.
Since she was busying chatting with @Malamaya, who looked pretty shocked at her sudden entrance into the common room, I made my way over to @Screamingwhispers.
"Hi," I started. "Um...What do you think of the decorations?" -
"I think they're great Mage! I didn't even know there was a party! I just came here in search of my other shoe." I gestured to my boot, black leather with badgers prancing around. "The things I manage to misplace- it's hilarious!"

I blinked in surprise, "Oh, hello, I do remember we met. Quite a few times if I remember." Putting on a confident smile, hiding my insecurities. "So, how are you? I imagine that the fall must have hurt, seemed very terrible to me." I asked in concern, the fall did have dust and the fall was all too sudden for me. Looking around, I have to say, the decorations were good, it could rival one of the decorations during Christmas back at the Philippines!

I waved a genial hand at @Malamaya's worry. "Nah, you get used to it eventually." I frowned with a sudden thought as I shook my hair of dust. "I hope that the house elves offered plenty of food while you were here, I could go grab some, someone forgot to do it." She shrugged. "Probably me."

I jumped in surprise when I heard @Kelpies speak up, having had my attention focused on @Screamingwhispers instead. "Thanks," I said. "Do you want me to help you look for your lost shoe? I'm sure we could find it faster together than with just you searching for it." I smiled.

I looked around and saw a table filled with food. "Oh! Never mind," she walked on over, leaving behind a trail of white dust on the carpet. I fill a plate with various foods, (mostly desserts,) and make my way back over to @Malamaya.

Shyly, I took a cupcake, I don't want to seem too greedy, but I also don't want to seem ungrateful for all the effort they put into this party. Taking a bite, I smiled "Mm, it's good, what flavor is it?" I never tried this flavor, maybe because of too much kiwi muffins or chocolate.

"That'd be a big help @Mage ! I've been looking everywhere for it. I may have accidentally found a few secret passages in search of my boot."

(Sorry I haven't been on lately) I look up at @mage . "I love the decorations. Not enough green however." I chuckle. "Just kidding it's great."

I shrug. "I don't know, @Malamaya, I think that it's the juice of a venomous tentacula pod. Before it develops its poison, of course."

I perked up with interest, "Really? That's nice. How long does it take before the juices actually turn to poison? And what do you need to do to treat it?" Adding an afterthought I said, "It's fine if you don't answer of course." After all, I doubt anyone would want to talk about poisonous plants and what damage they can do other than staying the heck away.
