I worked really hard, not only me, everyone worked very hard!! Please, don't call off the tournament! Extend the deadlines...please!!

Alright, so here's the thing.
The Writing Panic can't commence unless the contestants vote. The Writing Panic also can't commence if people can't submit, since we don't have any alternates. I need the other contestants to weigh in on this, but this can't continue unless there's more genuine interest from the other two people that signed up.
We all had five days to vote on each other's duels and we all would have had to had voted once to ensure that everyone got a fair chance with moving on to the next round and that simply didn't happen.
I really do love the idea of Writing Panics and I will make another in the future, don't worry. I don't doubt the fact that everyone worked hard, don't worry xD I just need to know whether this is worth it to everyone else, in terms of time and energy.
In light of this, I'll extend the deadlines to 04/12/2016 16:00 GMT -
I'll try to see if I can vote. Do you want to make a wall post about needing votes? Sometimes club members don't look at the pages for the tournaments they're in. If you make a wall post about needing votes they'll probably be more inclined to lend a hand.

Hey there! I'm stepping into this thread on behalf of the staff of TGW.
The thing is, sometimes the hosts can't do everything. Unfortunately—like I had with the Vices & Virtues Tournament and the CYOT—sometimes hosts have things come up where they consistently forget to update tournaments because of real life issues. They also can't vote, write, etc., and sometimes even making a wall post is out of the realm of possibility.
The hosts have enough responsibility on their shoulders alongside their real lives, and I think we can agree that life is unpredictable and can shove problems in your face when you weren't expecting them. It is for those reasons that it is the responsibility of the combatant to vote on community duel threads and to check the club wall AND the tournament thread to keep up to date with what's going on.
This isn't you, and it isn't just this tournament; multiple combatants in the past have asked multiple hosts, here and on TWT, to hold their hands through the entire competition down to PMing them every little change in information. This is simply not possible without an extreme sacrifice of time and other responsibilities on the part of the host, and we don't host tournaments because it's the only thing we ever dreamed of doing with our time, we host them because they're fun.
I recently had to step down from my duties as a moderator due to my real life issues. I appreciate every single one of my combatants, I appreciate their hard work and dedication, but sometimes it really is just impossible for me to keep track of what day it is or what's happening. And I'm not the only person with stuff like that going on; I'm just the one who's most vocal about it.
Besides, some members don't even check the wall. -
