Hey guys!
My name is marms and this is my author's page. This is the place where I'll be discussing ideas, talking about what I'm working on, and asking for suggestions. To start this thread off, I'd like to give you guys some information about myself that you never asked for, haha.
Joined Squills: April 2016 (I took a break for awhile and came back in August)
Because: I wanted to do something for YWS and I've never been good at reviewing, storybooks, or anything else. So I found Squills and I was really into the idea of being a writer for a newspaper. I tried to revive my school newspaper but that didn't work out so I thought I'd give Squills a try. I thought interviewing people would be perfect for me since I'm very chatty and love talking to people. It turns out I was right because I love Squills so much.
Writing Preferences: Like I said I love to write interviews. I love talking to other people and poking at their brains. I also sometimes like to write book reviews or articles on topics that I'm passionate about so you won't always see interviews from me but 95% of the time, I'm writing interviews.
General Information: I joined YWS in November of 2015. I began writing novels but later found a passion for poetry too. I was born in Canada but grew up traveling the world which has greatly shaped me into the person that I am. I have been to 15 country and lived in six different cities. I'm a junior in highschool and I plan on going to university in Canada. My interests include anime, astrology (i'm a taurus sun!), cats (I have two kitties!), music (Lana Del Rey, Marina and the Diamonds, etc.), books (huge fan of Cassandra Clare), Kpop (BTS and Mamamoo), youtubers (too many to list!), folklore/fairytales, Brothers Grimm, Game of Thrones, and musicals (Mamma Mia is my favorite movie and I also saw the musical in London!).
I run one column at the moment called Three Guests, Three Questions, but I really want to start some new ones in 2018.
Now with all that information out of the way, feel free to ask any questions or give any suggestions. I'm really open to trying something new and exciting so please do share your ideas!
