Hello hello everyone!
So this'll be my author page where I talk about articles or you guys can give suggestions or ask any questions about the articles I write or even about me!
Joined Squills: November 2016. Became editor just recently, and a year later from when I joined Squills: November 2017.
Because: I wanted to get more involved in the YWS community! Also, Squills just interested me so much - and it really was a "why not?" type of thing, and I ended up loving it!
Writing Preferences: If you don't already know, I love the society pages. The people tab is basically my home on YWS, and I love learning about other people and think society pages is a great connection between us all.
General Information:
So, where should I start? :p I've been on YWS for almost three years now - I joined in March of 2015.
YWS has basically been a second home to me ever since I've joined, and my writing skills have bettered as well as my critiquing skills. Not only this but I've met so many people here as well!
I also like using polymer clay, which is an oven bake clay. I have a massive sweet tooth which is 88% of the reason I bake too much. I have three super cuddly cats and they're probably some of my favorite things ever.

What's your favorite topic or article to write?

I think my favorite would be society pages. I’m on the people tab constaantly and I just love compiling everything together for everyone to read.

Perfect word for this week Rain, very relevant! I think it's a fun move for the word to connect to site happenings because then people have a really direct reference to how to use it.

I wanted to try stopping by all of the Author's Pages and ask a question or two, so here is yours: what books are you most looking forward to reading this year? Or, are there movie adaptations you're interested in? -
Well, I’m very excited to read the third book of the Truly Devious trilogy by Maureen Johnson! It’s a mystery series and gosh I just want to know what happens. I think the book comes out... in a couple days actually? Otherwise, I really want to read more mystery books and maybe a finish a series or two (like the Throne of Glass series I’ve been reading for the past several years now LOL).

Rain I really like the format of your popup question article this week, and I think it's a great idea for a column - short & sweet! I think I'll be looking into some of those book recommendations.

ERain, I've always wondered... where do you get your words for your word articles? Is it something that comes to you during the week or do you browse through dictionaries? I'm curious!
One of my favorite parts is the word origin and of course the clever sometimes humorous sentence you put the word in. will need to work "chagrin" into my speaking this week~
