So in order to have a debate going on here, I've decided we should, in celebration of the new year, have debate of which games were the best of 2013 new games, all time favorite games that didn't come out in 2013, and real old games that have come back with better graphics, story lines, and etc. Questions should be posted in the *spoiler* icons in the forum and such. Post your answers to the three questions and the winning top game gets to a) be the avatar for our club or b) people who voted for that one game get to choose a prize, such as getting 50 points per, or other things which you can come up with.

So any of you guys seen a game recently that whilst you haven't played, you would love to see come to your current console despite how unlikely it is? Mine is Undertale, a game which has revived the RPG genre which I thought had grown stale. Like a mix of Earthbound and Cave Story, where dark themes are handled delicately sometimes with a splash of genuine humour... and the villain is a nihilistic sunflower, so there's that.

    StupidSoup replied · Mon Oct 12, 2015 4:34 pm

    uhhhh. .-. Horizon Zero?

    Zolen replied · Mon Oct 12, 2015 5:39 pm

Revived the rpg genre? You realize there has been a over saturation of RPG games for a very long time out of the US. The only thing the US is making more of are FPS. Then there is japan which is like 90% RPG's. If you were complaining for the lack of new things, the rpg market has been improving and going back to the basics all over the place, and have been for the last 3 years.

I can understand if you were pining for performers, or point-and-click graphic adventure games. As those were dying until the indie market brought them back very very recently.

    one ramble of confusion later
Zolen is still confused by your statement. Please explain.

Also everything is on PC, even if it claims it's not, someone is going to eventually put it on pc. Thus why I gave up on console gaming. Much cheaper that way. I can just buy one pc, and improve it as time goes on. Instead of buying three systems with their many accessories in order to get the full experience.

Until Dawn. I don't have a PS4 (PS3 owner) but I'd love to play it.

    PRANC1NGJ35T3R replied · Sun Oct 18, 2015 9:32 am

Just to reply to Zolen, I know that there have been a lot of turn-based RPG games released of good quality but based on my experiences with the genre it eventually got stale and repetitive for me I just thought undertale was a step in the right direction. Also I can understand the preference for PC, its just not for me.

    PRANC1NGJ35T3R replied · Fri Aug 21, 2015 10:10 am

Other than the upcoming zelda games (particularly triforce heroes as I'd like to see how the multi-player formula had been adapted from four swords), I'd have to say I'm looking forward to some kickstarters (check out my post in the discussion forum).

    SARAHJO replied · Thu Sep 10, 2015 1:46 am

Well, when Kingdom Hearts III was announced at E3, I died.

When Final Fantasy VII Remake was announced at E3, I died.

Oh, and the new open world LoZ was announced too, and I cried...
    and then died.
