Your Opinion On Abortion

5 posts in this topic.

  1. Okay, if you joined this club, then you must be Pro-Choice.. but some people are torn between what they think is right and what they think is wrong when it comes to abortion. Some people think about thr unborn child, and some people think about the mother.

What do you think? Please remember that this is merely a serious discussion and debate topic, not an argument, so if you have anything bad to say, do not say it at all. Respect other people's opinions and they will respect yours. If this gets too out of hand, I will either PM Pigeon to delete/lock it (should Pigeon have the authority to do so) or a moderator will be contacted.

So, again, I ask: what is your opinion on abortion?
  2. The whole point of pro-choice is not forcing your opinion on abortion on anyone. I'm not pro-abortion, no one is. I wish it didn't have to happen. I wish everyone's lives were sparkly and brilliant all the time. But they're not. Abortion is necessary, and will happen whether it's legal or not. Keeping it legal and accessible means keeping it safe. If you don't like abortion, you don't have to have one.
  3. i believe that since it its a woman's body she should be able to do whatever she wants no matter if a certain religious group disagrees.
  4. Okay, let's say a teenage girl was sexually assulted. For her to have to be pregnant at an age like that would put a lot of preassue on her; from her family, her friends, people at school, and from the baby when it was born. If she had an abortion, all this preassure would be taken away. Yes, abortion may not be pefect-I mean, you're technically taking away the right for someone to live, ie: killing it- but nothing is. And people can choose whether they have abortion or not. Nobody should be forced to have one, but nobody should be forced not have one either. It's kind of liking eating meat; it seems brutal, but it should be a choice.
  5. I myself don't really care about whether or not other people do it, as long as they can do so legally and safely. Though, if I were in a situation where I was pregnant when I didn't want to be, I'd most likely get an abortion.
