We\'ve all heard of fanfiction-- well here is a club for people who rewrite books, but aren\'t exactly \'fans\'.

Does anyone else agree with me when I say that I think they're ruining all of these books by making them movies in the first place? If the movies don't hold up to expectation, then it kind if drags what ever book they brought to the big screen through the mud :(

me too I don't really to have any of the books I publish (if/when) I publish them to be made into movie but I feel that it's hard to get popularity for the book if it isn't

When my novels get published, I expect them to at least make a series season out of each  Unfortunately, though it does help in selling the book(s) to a larger group of people, it at the same time somehow minimizes the worth of the book itself in the eyes of those who actually prefer reading :/

Not always. I think when it becomes a movie and the people who have read the book before watching the movie pass around that the book was waaaay better than the movie..... well then look at the Hunger Games everyone became obsessed with reading and rereading those books. I saw Eragon the movie loved dragons then read the book and was like Oh my god. i'm so glad I took time to read the books too.
