I got back from a 3-week music camp about a week ago, and I learned that if there's one thing I need more experience with, it's chamber music. I had a really hard time being confident in my part, since there was no one playing it with me to back me up!
There's a much shorter day camp that I'll be going to for chamber music soon, and I'm joining a quartet in the fall, so hopefully I won't be quite as lost next year.
I'm also working on becoming more familiar with classical composers, since a lot of people there had a lot of music history knowledge that I didn't. And I'm learning more about theory- I finally understand Roman numeral analyses now!
