Laugh Out Loud: Prologue

PreviousNext

Most people don't recognize all of the stereotypes there are. We're always judging people, and even if you say you don't, you do. Your argument is invalid. If you see someone that wears dark clothes and band tees, you call them "emo", or "goth". If you see someone wearing glasses, you call them "nerdy". Really, though, looks don't matter. If you don't believe me, then here: Would you rather date someone with a great body but a terrible personality, or a person with a great personality and a terrible body? If you answered great body, then ha ha, ha ha, ha, YOU'RE THICK. Seriously, the day I choose looks over personality is the day I will lose all my dignity and intelligence.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night(whichever one it is in your part of the world),

Hi! I'm here to leave a quick review!!

Anyway let's get right to it,

Most people don't recognize all of the stereotypes there are. We're always judging people, and even if you say you don't, you do. Your argument is invalid. If you see someone that wears dark clothes and band tees, you call them "emo", or "goth". If you see someone wearing glasses, you call them "nerdy". Really, though, looks don't matter. ALright, well, that title definitely caught my attention right off that bat, cause that's not something that you tend to run into everyday...and it definitely seemed like there'd be a pretty interesting piece behind a title like that one...and well, this one wasn't quite what I was expecting considering the title, but its an interesting little paragraph here.

Okay, first thing I immediately notice about this prologue is that it seems a little incomplete here, at least to me, this sounds like it kind of cuts off a bit abruptly here rather than having a proper ending here. Soo..that is a bit of a concern...while a prologue is usually a great fit for a cliffhanger, the way that this cuts off is quite different from that here. This just seems like the second paragraph of this is missing here.

Anyway, that aside, the message within this paragraphs is quite interesting, it seems like the sort of message I could get behind at any rate, and it does seem intriguing to try and figure out exactly how this could tie into the actual story here. Well anyway, it seems like a story I'd read here. :D

Aaaaand that's it for this one.

As always remember to take what you think was helpful and forget the rest.

Stay Safe

Hey there! Stor here to review. I really liked the way you are describing that personality is more important than looks. This reminds me of the book series 'NERDS' which are awesome books. Now on to the novel. This was really awesome. I did not find any nitpicks though you have to put the full stops 'BEFORE' the apostrophe. Otherwise this was really good. Can't wait for your other chapters ( I've noticed that you didn't publish the next one for a long time). Keep writing.

I think your view is very important. I think you might've went about it the wring way when you insulted the people who have different views though. I understand looks aren't as important as personality, in fact everyone should see that, but the world isn't always black or white , it's usually a gray in-between. I think, let people have their own opinions an all. What i liked about this was you were solid with your opinion and I hope you continue more with this (I may be misunderstanding the use of Prologue in the title)

I completely agree! Too many people think that looks are most important, but I would also rather have someone with an awful body and amazing personality rather than somebody with an awful personality and a great body. I also must say that nobody really has a 'terrible body.' Otherwise, you did a great job and I love that you just wrote your thoughts, even if they go against the beliefs and so-called 'values' of our generation today.

I love what you did here! You wrote you thoughts down, that I too think about, and gave everyone a reminder that life isn't about looks. You did it in the wittiest and most meaningful way possible.

Just to improve: nobody has a terrible body. When you talk about dating a person with a great personality and terrible body or opposite, it's just setting a bad feeling. God created everyone with beauty. I still see what you you are trying to do and it is just an example.

Good job. Can't wait to read more of your inspirational writing.
