The drops of blood

PreviousNext

There it was falling drops of blood, from the blankness of wide sky. Each drop fell on giant rivers sides, growing enchantingly into red roses. Everything surrounding this river was dark, faded in black and fogged from vision. Apart from the slow gushing of sinister air, slow murmur of water flowed. Before my eyes, circling me danced transparent beings. Though undefined they were but the light surrounding them did shaped them in a form such like a humans. And I, I heard those transparent spirits, playing around me. They were playing tunes and singing their heart… I was shaking with every word.

Sought along the very line of will

The merry fate of one that none fills

Those roses who chant the tune of death

Sleeping on the calm side of river bed

If ever a thing of such vision arose

Who sees not the death but only the rose

It will pass the doors of end to soon

Given it never be-held the worlds truth

All its death in vain it will wonder long

Whether the death had meaning or the bloom

It will be cursed down the hell's fire to atone

As it passed with neglect heaven unknown

Those who grasped the wonder of death

They will seek patience until on them bliss is shed

The gift of grace and the sight of wisdom

And knowledge of him the beloved of souls

So seekers of those roses beware!

Admire not the appearance alone

But with pure soul, song you should hear

Wonder of words, their sense you should bear

Or smell those roses of unworldly scent

And burn forever again in fire of pain

The hell with flames which never dies

Wearing a skin which never fades

This in real is a stage of immense fear

Your life is on line as it is yours minds test

And the test of your soul, to see how you dare

To seek and penetrate through everything’s depth

Those spirits faded away. And soon I was shaken to my senses- I had fainted while meditating. My eyes wandered around the room where I laid. It was mine, the room. And those faces staring with concern were my own people… my family… my keepers. There was my husband, the man for whom I strayed… for whom I torn apart my faith. I felt a tinge of hopelessness and pity in my heart. It was pity for me. I remembered a voice telling me what I was doing, what the result would be… what relations meant.

“You think we, your parents, are just here for your sake! But you should remember, and remember well too, that you are a soul different from ours! You should know that what I do is mine and what you do is yours! I, your father, won't be answerable for your wrongs- What is there for us for caring for you? There is the pleasure to have shown a young soul the right path! You are losing your faith just for the sake of some fake joy? You will suffer! Oh yes! You will! From despair, hopelessness, fear…you will resent what you are doing now! You will remember my words…your mother’s tears…”

Ah yes! I remember them. Them and everything and him too…

This is quite an interesting story here. The way it is made in the beginning is pretty easy for me to imagine in my head.

Though, I have a few suggestions for you.

"There it was falling drops of blood"

Unless I'm mistaken, this part was a little confusing for me. Did you mean "There it was, falling drops of blood" or did you mean "There was falling drops of blood"?
That part was a little confusing for me and I'd thought I point it out.

Also, this part:

"Each drop fell on giant rivers sides"

Did you mean to say something like "Each drop fell on the giant river's sides"? That part was a little hard to read.

"slow murmur of water flowed"

You need to re-word this piece a little bit, since I was a bit confused when I read it.

"Though undefined they were but the light surrounding them did shaped them in a form such like a humans"

This part needs a few fixes. I think you needed to add a few extra words and remove a few.

I just pointed out a few mistakes. I didn't spot any mistakes in the last two paragraphs, since I think most of the mistakes are in the first few.

Good writing, it kinda made me want more. Needs a bit of polish here and there, and you're good!

Wow! this is truly Amazing!

But in a review I have some thoughts, I understand the mysteriousness you pushed but in the last 2 paragraphs i got a bit confused. you couldn't tell if someone was telling her what the (mother?) said or if she was just remembering it. Try to make that bit more clear. But other than that it had me on the edge of my seat! Truly this was really good.
