Harry James Potter,
the name makes me smile.
His courage and bravery
has been noticed for a while.
His movies excite me,
I'm on the edge of my seat.
What will he do next?
Who will he defeat?
When Philosopher's Stone came out,
I just turned six years old!
I also found out what magic was
and I believed what I was told.
I tried every way possible
to see if I had magic,
to see if I was like harry
but it was just a tragic.
When I watch Harrys' films.
to me it's like a dream
of another world where I...
could blow off some steam.
His second movie came out,
even better than the first!
Chamber Of Secrets was the name,
my excitement just burst!
The third and fourth movie
were just as fantastic.
New characters and story lines,
the fight scenes were drastic.
Come and goes the fifth and sixth,
I really couldn't complain.
Greater the envious of potter's life
and the excitement was still the same.
Deathly Hallows part one..
was just enough to take in!
To me it was simply magnificent,
my motivation wasn't running thin.
Soon to realise ahead
there's only one movie to go.
My lips slowly drip.
My eyes drop low.
Even though there won't be...
any more movies in the future.
I will keep harry and the rest
in my childhood for capture.
I saw the last movie yesterday,
it was greater than them all.
I came out of the cinema
thinking the last ten years were a ball!

This is a cute little poem that serves its purpose: to express your feelings about Harry Potter in a flurry of rhyming couplets. I think the problem I have with this and many other Harry-Potter related fan pieces that are floating around on yws is that they don't discuss the shortcomings (what? shortcomings of Harry Potter?) of either the movie or the book. You seem to be only talking about the movie series, and yet you don't talk about the change of actors from one Dumbledoor to another, how the directors changed as well as as each brought their own different spin into the movies they weakened the whole series by making it seem kind of schizophrenic, how the last one omitted the scene where Percy reconciles with his family and has all the grief that Hargrid was supposed to feel while carrying a dead Harry in his arms pared down to one ten-second shot. How Snape looked like someone on Top Model with his fierce smoky eye and how Voldemort was a regular Dane Cook.
Ahem,
I'm sorry to rant like that on your poem. It really is cute; it describes the movies as you went through them and the impact they had on your childhood. That was just kind of bottled up in me, I apologize.
Great work and I hope to see more of your poetry on yws, maybe with a subject other than Harry Potter.

I feel exactly the way you do. You've capture my experience and put into words. I have not yet watched the final movie. I am highly anxious and scared. I feel that is as just too good to be true. My favrioute part in your work is:
