This is very good. I like how you transition the new characters in and how they were not ready to tell Bard about the mission they were one. I am assuming that these are going to be main characters. I also like that relationship between George and Britt. I get the sense that even though the dwarf is always angry at him, he may actually like him. I am just curious why you named the thief George. It seems like a bland name for a fantasy novel. All the other names, Bard, Britt and Eileena seem to fit in more.
