Feet meet feet
where hearts met pavement.
Tears meet cheeks
where lips kissed softly.
Pen meets paper
where memories met freedom.
Black on black
where church hymns play.
Flowers meet straw
just woven by hands.
Wood meets earth
where shovels met ground.
Memories meet mind
of the years short lived.

This is a seriously heartfelt poem. Short but sweet, with most poems written like this the authors just keep on going without saying anything but you just introduced, said what you needed to say, then finished. Good plan!
You obviously put alot of effort into this poem, well done.
Keep on writing!

This is beautiful, meaningful, and can really be universal. I think everyone could relate to this.
Love it!

I believe this is a poem that holds a whole different picture for the writer than the readers and that's what poetry is all about! Love it! Keep writing!
