A Little Girl Named Jade

That little girl there
who stares at me
while I have a picnic
by the big oak tree.

That little girl there
hungry and alone
not a single place
here to call home.

I offer her snacks
and chocolate too
but she doesn't
accept the food.

She always comes
every single week
to that spot below
the giant oak tree.

She never talks
never a single word
just stands there
as watchful as a bird.

Then one day a man
came and took her away
and yelled at her fearfully
calling her name: "JADE"

She returned the next day
with such a grim face
bruises and bumps
on that little girl Jade.

I offered her chocolate
and many toys too
but there honestly isn't
anything that I can do.

Then she stopped coming
never again any day
so I am left to wonder
what ever happened to Jade?

I love this. Just like Nargles said, it sent shivers through me. The melancholy ring to this helped make it such a strong piece. Honestly, I think I want to cry now..

(I put this as a reply to Nargles on accident. Ooopsies!!)

That is so good, it sent a shiver down my spine. I really enjoyed it. You might want to think of adding commas in just to help the flow but apart form that it is really good.

When I use caps I do not want you to read it like a little screech, I want you to read it like a 5,000 year old ogre with the strength of 10,000 men.
