You and me that's how it's been
Looking after one another
You always made me laugh
Always putting a smile on each other's face
Back then we were so young
Without a care
When I was scared you were there
Comforting me
Your smile, your eyes
Were so kind
But a part of me just didn't see
The other side of you
I just can't understand
How we got here
You not trusting me
How did it end up like this
We've known each other for so long
Never letting anything get in our way

Its beautiful!
I like it, it's something everyone can relate to.
Especially the happy and comforting feeling in the first few verses and the sudden drop and change of attitude and emotion in the ones following... executed in such a depressive manner, the emotion conveyed.
Everything is great... except for a personal pet peeve.
Just a few overlooked spelling errors. Nothing big.
