Human

Fire rushing through my veins,
Down my spine,
Blinding my eyes.

It's all I see,
It's all I hear,
The blood rushing to my brain.

The elastic is pulled,
The tension; thick.
There are marks on my wrist.

Red and angry,
bruised and tender,
Am I referring to my wrists or my aura?

The fire is calmed,
tamed and chained,
It won't be long till it rears again.

I think she knows,
what I'm doing,
But I've stopped caring.

Because I'm no longer Human.

Howdy!

I'm going to review your work for you!

Because I'm no longer Human.

I just don't think because is the best word to use here. Neither does human need to be capitalised.

Other than that this is a fantastic poem. It flows so well. Imagery is used perfectly. It's describing, if I'm correct, someone who was once human; who was human at the beginning, going through a change. Perhaps turing into a vampire or something along that track?

Keep writing, your work is brilliant! You wrote about something so popular but you made it unique and your own.

Hauntingly poetic dude. Rock on.

Some call me a legacy, others call me a hero. But I assure you, dear admirers, I am only human.
