Fear

I am scared;
suffocatingly so.
My head aches from emotion,
my body trembles with the tension,
and I am scared.

I'm scared of heights;
of the looks you get from the peak,
from the ones below,
from the ones above.
And they all have views

I'm scared of monsters;
The creatures that differ from me,
physically and mentally,
and of the ones that are me
but I can never be.

I'm especially scared of allies;
The ones who know;
The omniscient deities over my world.
It's no longer mine; but has it ever been?

I'm scared of the unknown,
but I seek it out,
I prod at it and plead for it to yeild,
In reality, in all honesty;
I'm scared of rejection.

This is really good! I like the part about the mosnsters being physical and mental! This made me feel better! Thank you!
