Like boulders on my shoulders,
My body that carries the world
Is weakening as I can hardly see a thing.
Ain't clear enough to see something...
Something that can keep me alive,
Still can't drive to what I've been believing!
Still living in lies and still confused.
Things are there but don't know which to use.
With fakers there, it's hard to choose!
I don't have everything,
But I'm willing to give up something.
Yet, I don't wanna be abused.
Like open gates,
Opportunities come and go.
There are chances that trials blow.
I'm losing my grip!
I guess i have to go with the flow.

Hey that was really good! I agree with the person who said it was like linkin park. Awesome band. Very cool lyrics! I'd buy the song
The only thing is that your grammar was perfect until you got to "ain't". It's not a bad thing but it wasn't consistent with the rest of the lyrics. you don't have to change it but you might want to.

I honestly like your poem! I can totally relate to the part where you stated about having to give up something, without wanting to disappoint anyone. This poem definitely explains what taking chances is supposed to mean! Good job! Keep writing more!

OMG that was really good. As I was reading I felt like I was in a linkin park song... which is a good thing I hope!
