The Christmas Tree that never left
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree
How lovely are your branches!
In November your pine smell I craved,
So my father, for me he braved,
The cold harsh weather to bring you home.
December came fast, and more snow fell,
Your strong,green branches they held,
Our colorful,sparkling ornaments.
Before we knew it,Christmas was past,
And the new year began, finally,at last!
But there you were, your lights blinking.
February rolled around and brought along,
Soft pinks, strong reds, and we waved 'so long!'
To your Christmas colors, but they did not leave.
Then March arrived,
Short,wrinkly leprechauns,how they strived,
To understand why your company still we kept.
On Easter Sunday we all remembered,
Christ's great sacrifice, even while you still stood,
Celebrating his long awaited birth.
May,June,July, and August surrounded us in sunlight,
To sandy, cooling beaches, and sunny summer houses we made our plight,
leaving your prickly branches to dry out.
School time and leaves falling beckoned us home,
Expecting to see bare limbs,in our faces bewilderment shone,
For there you were, proud and green, just as the day you first came.
Oh Christmas tree,Oh Christmas tree,
When will your branches leave me!

Ah, thanks ...freak ha ha. It seems something always gets past me....
Hello! Call me Freak, if you will.
Let's get started with a nitpick:
"Christs" is possessive, so it should be: Christ's.
And that it's, great job, keep working, you're amazing.
