Love is the thing that makes you bitter, jealous, obsessed, and last but not least dumb. I hate being dumb but I love being in love. It makes you feel special and worth something which I have a hard time feeling about myself so when I'm in love I love hard and give them all that I have, but that can backfire very quickly. See once you give somebody your all you have nothing left to give for yourself and trust me once your self worth is gone it's quite hard to get back. I think love is a drug, a drug that makes you say stupid things when you're nervous and gives you self doubt about your looks. Love makes you look in every mirror and glass window your pass to check if you are up to their standards. Are you you good enough for them is question that constantly rings in your head, nine times out of ten is absolutely not you ugly fat bitch, those six words can kill a person inside and out and make person so transfixed on their looks that nothing else matters in the world but their weight and physical appearance. Can you imagine we human beings put ourselves through that all for one stupid person who couldn’t care less.

Your comment was posted, but it wasn’t long enough to count as a review. Reviews need about four complete sentences (at least 250 characters). Try writing another review that explains your thoughts in more detail — the author will appreciate it, and you’ll earn points for it.
This is a very emotional piece that you have written. It is clearly very personal for you as well as many other people, need I say everybody even. This is also very sad. It makes me think of a situation of my own.. I constantly find myself wondering if I am good enough for someone like them. They say they enjoy speaking with me but there will always be that certain doubt in the back of my mind.
I agree with your thought that love is a drug. I find myself saying stupid things to them 24/7. I hate to love them. That's for sure.
I think the message here is strong.

However, the words read like prose. I think finding some form of meter would take your free verse poetry to the next level. The long flowy sentences work, they just need to be divided. Separate your poem into stanzas. Use more poetic devices (alliteration, onomatopoeia [the "boom-boom" of someone's heart, for example]). Really dive into the poem aspect of your message. Good work
Hello friend,
Your poem explores the theme of love and its negative effects on your self-esteem and well-being. You express your frustration and pain of being in love with someone who does not value you or reciprocate your feelings. You also question the worth of love and its impact on your perception of yourself and your body. This is a relatable and powerful theme that many people can connect with.
But your poem does not have any clear structure or division. It is written as one long paragraph without any breaks or punctuation. This can make your poem more difficult to read and follow. You might want to consider using some form of structure or division to create more clarity and organization in your poem.
Wish you have a nice day or night!
