Inspiration

Words flowing from the tip of my pen
Sentances played out in my mind
The perfect weather
The perfect time
Inspiration flowing from every hole
Every blade of grass
Drifting from the pond in a graceful mist
I used to be afraid to come back
To the place of good and bad memories
The overflowing feelings of hatred and love
That stayed over from that last summer
The feelings come to me now
Fully welcomed
As inspiration
This place
With it's torquoise pond
The ruins of an old, burnt down home
The lots for RV's
Our little cottage and camper
And finally
The 12 silent acres of just forrest
Inspiration swirls around me
Just waiting for the words
To be scrawled out from the tip of my pen

Thank you so much!

I will write a poem, actually I think I have, about the bad feelings from the summer before. It's actually quite an interesting story.

I'm sorry about the spell check. I planned to hit it but I forgot because I was so excited. (heh heh)

Thank you again for your words. I smiled really wide. You could probably see it from where you live O.o

Thanks again,
Mikaela (Cally)

I'm not the greatest at grammar so...

What I liked:
- How you intertwined the feeling of inspiration with your surroundings. (you were camping weren't you? ;))
- Inspiration is a wonderful thing and I can actually feel the imagination your getting.

What I didn't like:
- Please spell check before you post: Sentances = Sentences.
- I would like to hear more about the bad feelings from the previous summer.

Critiquing a poem it very hard for me because it is different from writing a fully written sentences with good grammer, punctuation and all that. WHen you write a poem, there are no rules that you have to stick to, thats the fun part. SO a poem can never be written "wrong".

Sorry about the little intro. I just had to write it.

Anyways, I LOVED YOUR POEM~!

This was really good. I could actually taste the inspiration (if you can do that XD) This was very moving and very pleasnt. Keep it up!
