Every color is part of another.
And so I thought I was a rainbow rock
on a mountain full of gray,
only to scratch the surface of a boulder
and find a dazzle inside my brothers.
Oh, I'm a hermit crab without a shell
that managed to find a home
in that of a tortoise.
He's a hundred years old,
and my fragility gives me no reason
to be angry at the speed of his steps.
It's all a paradox!
It's all a paradox!
Putting the wise to shame!
I'm a black jaguar hidden in jungle.
Not many can find me,
but none the less I pounce.
Shall you place me in a cage?
I've got a wild streak,
and you'll be the victim
of a playful bounce off my paws.
It's all a paradox!
It's all a paradox!
Putting the wise to shame!
It's all a paradox!
It's all a paradox!
Must a lion like the lamb at the slaughter be in pain?

YOU USE PARADOXES SO WELL! You are very talented! I love the ending! Really counter acts the typical "wisdom" society deems! Keep writing it is great!
Wow, I usually hate poetry, but this is really good. The style is really good, the story it's telling is amazing. I wish all poetry was this good. I don't see anything wrong with this poem. It seems perfect to me. Thank you for this. Good luck with your future writings. May you be shielded from Writer's Block.
WOW! that was pretty freakin amazing. I loved it. I espically liked the topic you choose to write about.

I cant wait to read more of your work.
