I actually really liked this book. I'll admit, it's cerainly not Meg's best book, but it was still a fun read that left me smiling in the end :P

It was cute and light and a nice read for younger teens of the female persuasion ;)

Yeah its not a masterpiece. But it KNOWS it isn't, and i love it anyway. I read higher calibre stff, and then Meg Cabot and Jim butcher to relax and have fun. You don't have to try hard with them, you can just get lost in the story and happy endings are a relief after having cried for twenty minutes having finished something like the time travellers Wife.

And its not trying to be original, it knows its very cliche, its been done. But this one is done well, and its great in its way.

Anyone read All American Girl?

It was pretty good. However i read it when i was like 12, and it made me scared of highschool.
My favorite part was when she kissed (umm what his name, her crush) and found out they both loved each other.

but other than that, it was a typical rromance.

Twilight is much better!

Teen Idol is definately one of my favorite Meg Cabot books. Not as good as The Princess Diaries, but still pretty hilarious.

Ehe.

I liked it.

I liked the concept of the famous-guy-in-high-school thing

I know it's not Jane Austen, but its a nice book. Shouldn't be dissed. Not maybe for the whole discuss-and-analyse thing, but its a good thing to read when you just want to relax.

AND is and American High school really like that???????

WB!!!!

Read this a while back when I had not distinguished any particular taste :smt053
Sorry to say I found it puerile, unoriginal, monotonous... and the rest.
Thumbs down from me.

It was written by Meg Cabot, is what you mean.

It's a typical teenage romance story, definately not one of her best though.

You are beautiful because you let yourself feel, and that is a brave thing indeed.
