I would like to start off by saying that I am a white kid from the suburbs. A genre of music that I have always loved, especially since I became reaquainted with it in the ninth grade, is rap. I think I've always been a little bit different from a lot of kids because I am white but have always looked so much into rap music. Now keep in mind I'm not one of those white kids who thinks their black because they know a little about Eazy-E and can write a few ryhmes, fuck that, that's not me. I don't plan on being the next Eminem, I just love rap, it's that simple.
Now with that said, so many people hate on rap. "Its not music, its shit." Obivously these people are dumbass' and don't know what the fuck they are talking about. Yes everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I respect opinions. What I don't respect are close minded idiots who don't try to find the beauty in something they think is 'bad.'
Anyway with the current rap game I do have some concerns. Rappers just don't have substance like they use to. Groups such as Young Money and MMG are nothing like Biggie or Pac were. Yes every rapper has to have few great songs about "fucking bitches" and "getting money" but you can't exclude your entire song catalogue to these subjects. I feel as if people such as Lil Wayne and Drake have sort of lost their ways in Hip Hop. I don't hate them I still respect them, but I feel like they could do better with their lyrics and song content. I'm all for a good club banger, but really no one has released a good song like "Stan" in a long ass time.
I feel as if the last time the rap game was great was when it was led by the Shady Crew. (I am a huge Eminem fan but I'm no dick rider let me explain) 50 cent was on top of his game and he had a great mixture of songs for the clubs and songs for your friends to just vibe to. During this time period Lil wayne was in his prime (in my opinion) he made great songs and still remember where he came from. Eminem was releasing some great stuff as well and no one can forget Game (even with his feud with 50).
I'm hoping that the rap game progress from its current stage of "a hot beat and catchy hook." The game has been stagant for awhile but I'm looking foward for some new rappers to really get it moving again.

Not gonna lie, I like this piece a lot! However, there are still many grammatical errors. Please-the world begs this of you-use "it's" and "its" in the correct manners. "It's" means "it is" and "its" should be used only when showing that the particular "it" being referenced has possession of something. Also, in compound adjectives used directly before the noun that they are describing, a hyphen should connect them. Plus, move the rating of this piece up to 18+ because of the language. Thanks!
