In young brother

PreviousNext

our brother lives with us in memory,

before our eyes he grow weaker everyday,

doing all we canto save him until god took him away,

never shall we crease to love our brothers,

never shall his memory fade, our sweetest love lingers,

forever round his peaceful grave

Hey,
So this was very sad but almost peaceful n a way. I really like the tone overall. I have a younger brother and I couldn't even comprehend losing him. The third line really reflects that for me. So I really like this it was short and simple but had a lot of meaning that is up for your own interpretation and that is what good poetry is in my opinion.

There are some mistakes with word spacing and spelling so maybe look it over. I really don't have anything else to say. Great job, keep writing and have a great day.

No one has a good answer as to why things happen, but this is a great expression of this. It may sound cliche, but nobody ever dies as long as their names are remembered. If you know your brother's name, that is proof that he lives on, and he will continue to live on as long as you (or anyone) remember his name or him in general. If you write a letter to him, that is even more proof that he never really died. Life may go on without him beside you, but you are proof that he is still alive. Live for him. This poem in and of itself expressed that he was and still is alive. For as long as this piece, beautiful in and of itself, exists, so does the beauty that was and is his life. Keep living for him and his memory. Stay strong and stay you.

The strongest people are not those who show their true strength in front of us but those who win battles we know nothing about.
